Israel is, for the most part, a beautiful country. Its a shame more people dont have the opportunity or the desire to see it.

Israeli's are armed to the teeth (which is interesting since Jews are usually the leaders in the US seeking to abolish the 2nd amendment). People literally walk the streets with machine guns. I wonder why they don't have a crime epidemic like us in the states?

Jews leading to abolish the second Amendment?

I doubt this....given how much shit they have gone through, the last thing they want is to be unarmed. There is a saying among Jews: "every Jew a .22"

No crime epidemic because an armed society is a safe society. No one fucks around. The UK banned guns and crime jumped up.

Interesting. I grew up in NY and I know thousands of jews. Never met one that was for strict gun control. It just doesn't work with the Jewish mindset - not from what I have seen anyway.

I guess it depends on whatever group you want to ask.
 
It's strange that people here claim that Israel allows their citizens to carry guns. I heard that the government only lends firearms out to the settlers in the most danger and even then they cannot be permanently kept. Maybe someone who knows the gun laws in effect over there can clear this up.
 
Just did a quick search and found out that less than 5% of Israeli citizens are allowed to own firearms. Apparently, if you are allowed to own one over there you can carry it without any other permits. When you have permission to own a gun in Israel you can only own a single firearm with your permit (this goes for civilians). Military and other government workers may be able to carry the firearms they are issued in public and this boosts the percentage of total citizens carrying, however normal citizens basically have the same gun rights that someone would have in the UK:almost none.
 
All I know is that if I were allowed to carry a concealed weapon, I would immediately become car-bomb-proof.

Owned if that were true. But it is a well known fact that Israeli's own more guns percentage wise than Americans. My Jewish friends who have visited Israel have also mentioned this.

America has a high crime rate because we are a "melting pot" of different races and ethnicities who commit crime at varying levels.


I just get sick of the hypocrisies that the Jews tell us are beneficial to gentile societies…meanwhile they practice the complete opposite back home in Israel.

Crime has been shown to be economic about 100000000000000000000000000000000 times. it is cyclical and typically opposite of the economy. Good economy, less crime. Bad economy, more crime. It's that easy.

Unfortuantely, race and poverty often go hand in hand, so people miss the point.

Then explain Canada's lack of crime (even though both countries have relatively the same rates of poverty).

I wasn't trying to "own" you...lol. But I HAVE heard that Israel has very restrictive gun laws. In the US, anyone older than 21 with a clean record can buy a handgun (except in communist-run areas like Chicago, NYC, and Washington DC). Israel does not issue permits to more than a handful of its citizens, however if they do manage to get the permit they can carry if they want to. Also, they cannot own more than 1 pistol. Sounds pretty restrictive to me.

The high rates of gun ownership you have heard about are probably being confused with military personnel who are allowed to carry.

Much lower population, smaller cities, less disparity of wealth.
 
Actually I think its great that your brother went out there Matt , at least he will see with his own eyes the situation out there as opposed to one painted by media elements. Everyone should do some travelling to open their mind a little and see how the other side lives.
