Just wondering if you guys had any good pointers on getting rid of acne from taking AAS. Its mainly on my shoulders, chest, and upper back. Not much on my face at all, maybe 2-3 bumps. My skin is just so damn oily, and i take Brevoxyl 8 creamy wash and wash that shit every day in the shower, wipe down with astringent afterwards, and still get tons of dirt! I take about 300mg of Doxycycline a day, and it looks like it may be helping but not much. Im going to the fucking beach in 2 weeks, and i look pretty good except for this acne problem. Anyone have any suggestions or pointers on how they get rid of it?

Yeah, i have been seriously slacking on the tanning lately. I just havent had time. I think i may take a shower right after i workout, and then tan. That way, ill be clean before i get in there and sweat to death.

Any more ideas on how to rid myself of this crap? I thought about taking Accutane, but honestly, im taking Test, Fina, Winny, EQ, & Growth right now, so i dont really need anything else in my body that might cause harm. Too much on the liver i would think.

Things that can help with Acne (you probably know most of these)

Frequent showers, but do not always use the harsh soaps, I take 2 or 3 showers a day, and use my wifes Dove soap for at least 1 if not all of them.

Pantothenic Acid (Vit. B-5)at high doses can help also. I take 8-10grams per day.

Tanning, if you can do it every other day.

If you have a dermatologist ask for Nizoral shampoo, this is commonly used to help treat acne, even though it is designed primarily as a shampoo. Use it at least 2x weekly and let it sit on your skin for 5 min. each time.

You can also ask your dermo about Tazorac (Tazerotene) My dermo calls it topical accutane. This stuff is wicked, you can not put it and be in the sun period, I use it at night before bedtime. And do not use any over the counter products with this, or it will eat your skin. Also make sure your skin is completley dry before using it.

Differin Gel is another product that can be prescribed it is made by Galderma.

You should be able to use the web to search and find quite a bit about any of these products.

Right now I am doing a cycle that among other things includes a gram of test per week. and my skin is clear.

Here is what I do:

Morning Shower:
Use dove nutrium soap all over.
A little bit of nizoral on areas where I am acne prone
Pantothenic Acid-2 grams

Midday.
20 min in tanning bed
Pantothenic Acid -2grams
spot areas where I am acne prone with a tiny amount of tazorac.

Right before workout
Shower, use dove nutrium soap all over
a small amount of nizorall.......
Pantothenic Acid 2-grams

After workout or right before bed
Shower...dove soap
a little nizoral.....
a little tazorac on areas where I am acne prone.
Pantothenic Acid 2 grams.

Change your bedsheets everyday...or if you cannot do that wear a clean cotton shirt to bed.

This is a lot of work I know, but acne sucks I know so I am willing to do WHATEVER it takes to get rid of it, except accutane while on a cycle.

Also please know that this is what is working for me, everyone is different.

Hope this helps.

I sympathise with you mate, I am on high doses and my acne is severe on chest and tops of shoulders and on my back also, have started tanning every second day and using the topical washes, also dropped my test doseage slightly. Hope you get it under control.

TRY THIS BRO

It's called Diferen...It is not as strong as Retin-A , but it has to be prescribed. THIS SHIT KICKS ASS:D

Tanning works great for acne. It burns them all off if you go at least 3 times a week. Don't use any of that tanning lotion, it will just clog up your pores and make it worse. Taking some B5 everyday helps too.

I used accutane a few years ago and it was horrible. It took about a month to get rid of all my acne but the side effects were not worth it. In the middle of summer my skin was so dry it almost started cracking. My lips were dried out and chapped like they get during the winter, even lip balm didn't help. I was also thirsty all the time even though I was drinking 2 gallons of water a day. I would rather have acne than use accutane again. Some guys say they get no side effects at all from it but it was torture for me.

Well since your not stating what and how often your using. My suggestion may be to change to a different gear and change the times that you take it. One or both together may work for you. I have seen awsome results by doing this. Awsome results.
