MRPs

Anyone else eat their MRP (myoplex, metrx, etc) like pudding? Adding just a tad of water and stir till its very thick? How do you like/stomach it?

MRPs are for newbies !

Years ago, when I did tried those MRPs I liked them very thick (I needed a spoon to eat them)

Actually they were not that bad :D

I didn't do it with the MRP but with MET-Rx Carb-FX which
is a protein blend, but anyway, it came out pretty good.

I just put like 30g of powder along with a bit of cold water,
stir it (it's the only protein powder that I can stir with a spoon
and get no chunks). I add a bit of cinammon and 10g of psyllium husks. turns out real good. I actually found out this combo by mistake. I strirred my protein and it just turned into a pudding like. Don't know how it will work with other proteins though.

Newbies?? F-U.......been in the game for quite some time bro - anyways, wondering about the digestion process.......think it's all the same?

If it is like a shake (pretty liquid rather than an heavy thick pudding) you'll digest it quicker (it is what you want post workout)

MRP's

MRP's are not for newbies. There are very few quality ones on the market. Lean Mass Matrix I beleive to be the best. The New Myoplex Formula and VPX's mrp seem to be decent choices as well. I use an MRP for convenience at times, like if I'm at work or if I'm on the go and don't have time to cook.

I still like to make my own MRPs (dont trust those companies labeling after things i've heard)

For CKD: 35-45g casein/egg/whey mix, 1 T phyllium husk fiber, 2 T Flax oil, 5 g glutamine

General MRP: 40-50g casein/egg/whey mix, 1 T phyllium husk fiber, 1 T flax oil, 1/2-1 c of raw oats, 5 g glutamine
