Hmm, I'd also look up reviews of both products on http://www.amazon.com and http://www.epinions.com - both good sites for getting people's opinions on products.

That said, I have an iPod mini Love it so far. I have a wireless transmitter for it so I can transmit it over the radio on any stereo or in my car.
