Motivation

What do you guys do when your motivation drops. I was making some great gains, now for some reason, I cant drag my lazy ass to the gym. Does everybody experience this?

Read Arnold's New Encyclopedia for Modern Boydbuilding. After I read a couple of pages of that I just wanna get to the gym.

Also cut out pics of muscle magazines, people that you're striving to look like, and post them somewhere: mirror, fridge, door, etc.

I think I've become addicted to the gym, if I could I would train 7 days a week I would. My off days are my least favorite days of the week, all I can think about is the next time I'm going to be able to go to the gym. There's something about the pump that feels so good and when I get out of the gym in the morning I'm ready to conquer the day.

Maybe you're overtrained. That's exactly how I feel when I'm overtrained: tired, unmotivated, ect.

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something. Take a week off, eat some chinese food, and then start back at it with a whole new routine. Think about it, bro. :)

there are a few options:

1) take a week or two off. eat a little more than usual and enjoy life. take it easy. dont pig out but eat well. after a week or two you'll come back stronger and refreshed.

2) start a cycle of anything from AS to creatine. it may give you the extra push that you need.

3) change routines.

4) get into a fight, and let the other person beat you. defeat will sink in within a day or two and you'll be pissed off and aggresive as ever.. just kidding.. dont fight man.

karma please if that helped

just set some goals that you know you can achieve, and work for em, thats what i do, works great

take a week off and eat anything in sight, shit this week alone I have averaged about 6000 cal per day and started to go heavy again. My strength gains are way up and I have a renewed vigor in the gym
