Motivation Help...

I'm amazed at how motivated some people are once they're actually in the gym and working out. I'm motivated to go, but after 35-40 minutes of pretty intense workout, I'm ready to go home. Maybe my gym doesn't have enough hot girls, I dunno. It just seems that I look in the mirror, am relatively satisfied with my physique and just don't have the motivation to continue any longer (although I could definitely cutten up and gain some mass). Other than thinking of messing w/ girls and being ripped at the beach, what other things do you guys think about when training? I feel my goals aren't far away, I just need to get motivated to stick it out 10-15 minutes longer and that may be the difference. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I don't think about anyone else when I train especially girls. If you aren't doing it for yourself then you will never have enough motivation.

Cheers,
Scotsman

I think about getting stronger, about being number one, about how I can train more effectively to get every bit out of myself. Those things drive me to train. Like Scotsman said, you have to be doing it for yourself.

yeah....that's pretty much about it.

Yeah, what they all said above.

I personally do this so that I can lift even heavier shit, can eat more food, and drink more beer. :D

My motivation is to avoid the dorks looking at themselves in the mirror, and glancing around the room to see if the girls are watching their poor excuse of a workout.

my training has nothing to do with looking good for girls, or the beach, or any of the aesthetic bullshit. for me its a journey, its about pushing yourself past the norm, to escape being ordinary, and become extraordinary. someday i want to be the best. thats what motivates me.
