He influenced a lot of stuff. Look (glam), sound, lyrics, beats, music etc... It's still ongoing today. Tons of his beats are even sampled in R&B and rap songs.

Certain people were more influential to a certain genre. You got Ozzy for heavy metal, NWA for rap, etc...

I just think overall Bowie is the most influential with all things considered.

NWA I can see. I just can't see how you can say p diddy influenced anything. Most of his hits were remakes and loaded with sampled beats and hooks.

other peoples music gets used also, not just his. i dont know much about him and im not saying he wasnt good but i dont know if he created anything new that other people followed. i think nwa and puff daddy made their music mainstream when before it wasnt.
