morning cardio

i have been thinking of doing my cardio in the morning to optimize fat burning. but worried about muscle catobolism. what if i drank like 20 grams of protein whey isolate right before cardio. would this be good or would it negate the fat burning?
 
I'm not sure I would agree with eating oatmeal immediately prior to cardio because then your cardio is wasted on burning the oatmeal. I take glutamine, amino acid pills, hydroxycuts, and yohimbine immediatly before cardio to minimize any muscle loss. I guess drining a protein shake would be ok, but I would rather not feel bloated on the cross trainer. Just my thoughts....

I agree 100% I NEVER eat before morning cardio and always wait at least 25min after cardio before having my first meal. 5 g's of Glutamine, E/C/A and my Multi-Vitamin is all I take before my morn cardio

It could be but I don't think that eating a small meal before your cardio would have a dramatic effect on your fat loss process. I would look at your overall diet because chances are, thats where your flaws are at. Let me know if I can help ya out

I am eating pretty lean. Lots of chicken breast and brocolli. I have lost some fat, but my weight is staying the same. Could be the test and fina though?!?!:D

It could be that your actually losing body fat while gaining muscle at the same time which is very hard to do. That is very common with Fina and that is why it is so unlike any other drug. One of the most versatile AAS out there IMO! Can you notice a change in body composition ?

Yeah the wife says I am getting huge. And the stomach is getting smaller. I just have a hard time dealing with 242lb I think.

Oh shit, of course! No wonder I haven't been losing weight since I started dieting 2 weeks ago. I'm trying to shoot for the lightweight class at my competition, but I've been hovering at 167-170 for the last 2 weeks, all while doing 1 hour of cardio and 50g MAX of carbs per day. I cant understand why my weight hasn't moved, but the Fina at 75mg per day may explain it. Fuck it, I'll probably compete as a middleweight. No sense in sucking myself down to 150 because I probably cant lose 20 pounds in 5 weeks anyway considering I'm nearly "to the skin" right now as it is.

Here you go baby! ;D I snapped these pics this morning after cardio. I've been taking pictures every Saturday in order to gauge my progress. It's cool to see how all the strict dieting, cardio, and training are really making a difference, and it's also encouraging and keeps me going.

how can you control your cravings to only eat 50 g of carbs per day what is your nutrient breakdown fat/carbs/protien do you drink an ocean full of water so you dont stay hungrey or is it some type of appetite suppreasant
 
I wouldn't eat before morning cardio but I think that 10 grams of glutamine might be helpful. - cbeaks
 
I don't eat before morning cardio, except for a Hydroxy or NYC tab. I don't really have time to though, I get up at 4 to get to the gym by 5 to do 30 minutes of cardio, some abs then shower and head to work by 6:10. I get to work about 7 and then I will ussually eat a can of Tuna and some wheat thins. 2 hours later Myoplex, 2 hrs, can of Tuna and crackers, 2 hrs turkey breast sandwich, crackers and yogurt, 2 hrs Tuna and crackers, 2 hrs Myoplex then to gym to lift. After lifting I ussually eat a couple chicken breast with veggies.

I wish I knew the caloric intake of this, probably should figure it out because I am trying to cut. And by the way, I hate tunafish.
