Molecularly Superior Water...calling all brainiacs:

Penta Brand Water:

"The secret is in the molecular structure. A water molecule, as most of you know, is made up of 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom. What most people don't know is that water molecules naturally bond together to form large clusters and chains, which can be bulky and inhibit the absorption of the water into the cell. Penta clusters are unique. Through a patented physics porcess the Pents clusters are reduced to a smaller, superior state. These smaller clusters move through the body more quickly than others, getting into cell more easily, hydrating your body faster and more effectively."

BINGO or BULLSHIT? State your case. :)

Thanks

Total BS.

Water is water. The only thing you can change is the trace mineral content and the PH. You can't engineer the water molecules to form clusters. The technology is simply not there.

lets just say, the only experience ive had with that water was a client i had a while back. she was hell bent on ONLY drinking that water, read some book about working out to not tax the adrenals (or something hokey like that) and was training for the olympics.... (mid thirties, about 50lbs overweight and never competed in the sport). im not knocking her efforts but she was rather obsessive about her new age water, and it stemmed from her book that she read.

Basically they are filtering and de-ionizing the water. Water molecules do form hydrolyzing chains which is a secondary polimerization. This is the disassociation effect where water pulls other things apart as a solvent. By de-ionizing the water you reduce the charge effeciency and thereby bend the structure of the molecule and reduce its ability to have a bipolar pull effect. This is known as vanderwahl forces. So having said that the effect on your body of changing water is non-existent. Water is water as long as it doesn't have a bunch of crap in it you body can't tell tap water from bottled.

Cheers,
Scotsman

I have a CD from the owner about the water, and he says the following:

filtered water is 150 parts per million (solids)
Tap water is around 600
and Penta is less than 1

It is being viewed as a different kind of water

General Physics Insitute in Moscow is labeling it as a new kind of water because they are using laser technology to measure the structural fluids. They tested Penta and found that it did have a structural difference, as Penta claimed, and that it has a stornger interaction of hydrogen bonds, and are doing a full scale study on it. They've been testing water for decades and theorized that this was possible, and believe that this time, it's been done. The data is to be released, from the General Physics Insitute, in 2004.

They have already released that the boiling point of this water is even different, the ph shifts, and the blood becomes less viscous because it functions to change the pressure.

I'd wait till the data is released.

Stronger interaction between hydrogen bonds on the H-H-O molecule would mean more energy is required to break them down. Thus, higher boiling point.

But that still doesn't mean anything regarding physiological performance.

Fona, he went in to that too, but I can't type as fast as this guy on the CD is talking. lol

I will try to get it all down later, or maybe make a wav file of the CD. That would be easier.

I'm looking for info from GPI, but it's kinda hard to find what I'm looking for.

ok, say this stuff really is a superior water. what justifies spending extra money for it, when i can go to my tap and drink some water, filter it, all for marginal cost. and we all know good old plain water hydrates us already. will this penta water help me get stronger or leaner?

can you really afford to drink a gallon of it a day anyways?

all these years rivers have been flowing...the plain old stuff.......seems like humans have done ok so far. ;)

it would be a nice find, but good old tap water is fine by me.
