Minimizing the bloat after carb loading or cheat meals

junk

My stomach seems to bloat to extremes on carb loading or
cheat meals. In order to avoid the water retension
(especially around midsection) that goes with carbs,
I take a few ginger root capsules along with GlucorellR.

I also drink about a full galon of water with such meals,
I believe that drinking that much water would cause less
water retension as opposed to drinking less water. Is that true?

Glucorell-R does indeed seem to greatly help with bloading during carb-ups. Also, the GI of the carbohydrates consumed seem to play a great role in amount of bloating; lower GI = less bloat.

Not really, since the bloat occurs due to the fact that water is required to use glycogen (or is to to use ATP stores? One of those things), and not due to dehydration. That said, as the water retention occurs, drinking more water would be beneficial in actually avoiding dehydration of organs.

I would add some digestive enzymes and some calcium to the mix.
