Mimicking Prednisone

Hi everyone...

I was recently prescribed prednisone by my Doc for an achilles flareup and have been running my training runs at my old race paces from just 3 or 4 years back. All I can say is W.O.W!!! Is there anyway to mimic the anti-inflammatory effects with less side effects (after prolonged usage, there are side effects such as weight gain, bloating, water retention, decreased immune responses [esp: cancer fighting T-Helper Cells])

I am not looking to gain muscle or anything, simply to help with recovery, inflammation, general running.

I am a 15:48 5k athlete...
Thanks,
Anon

Prednisone is a tier 2 anti-inflammatory. There are several in every class and they go up to tier 4. Look at arthritis medicines as 99% of them are anti-inflammatories. They all have side effects but they also vary greatly on their side effects and if you personally get them or not.

Now more to the point...something like CJC1295dac may help with the recovery. Or maybe even a SARM.

Problem with SARMs is that I am WADA tested... Prednisone only has a 72hr urinalysis detection window. Detection windows are very important, as well.

Easy, you have a real condition and need to not get hit by a drug test. Go to a real doctor and get a real prescription. He can give you alternatives to prednisone.
