every girl i treated like shit back in my "let's treat women like shit cuz i can" phase of my life -- i did because they ALLOWED me to.

They easily could've shut the door or not answer the phone. but they never took that route. You draw your own conclusions from that.
 
Whatever, women are the one's who get married or have a boyfriend and them come up to me and come on to me, and even pretend to be single so they can get some dick on the side. I'm so not buying this "men are all just a bunch of horny pigs" bullshit. There are alot of men who are pigs, and alot of men who are not. The same rule applies to women, and there are just as many women out there who are the same way.

To all the women who are agreeing, as Bebe Girl would say... go shit in a hat. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

okay not all men are pigs and i agree that most girls can be just as bad if not worse....

my point is, it is really hard to trust anyone nowadays

The problem is not that you cant find anyone to trust, I think you could find a good guy if you wanted to, but you are limiting your selection.

I'd say don't go after the guys who carry 'the stud aura' Instead aim for the ones that lack the typical super sexy traits, and are a bit more reliable.

cuz face it, you probably cant get a guy who's both super duper appealing, and reliable, cuz frankly they are too hard to find, and the ones that are around are already taken :)

Then again, I'm not sure if this is your problem. It's just a problem I notice with the women around me. :)

i was thinking about it.....the thing is, i see what you are saying, but i don't think you should ever lower your standards just because a certain type has done you wrong.....i know that there are guys out there that i will be attracted to physically and will have a good heart.....

no doubt though, players are often the cute ones.....lol

You can trust me. I'm a really nice person. If I were a condiment, I think I would be something like Grey Poupon (sp?) because it's nice and you don't come across it very often.

I guess my thoughts on that are that sometimes you just have to lower your standards. I dunno, it sort of depends on the person.

If you are a girl that is just beautiful and you have a lot of other good qualities then no you probably dont have to lower your standards,

But if you are average looking, like may then you have a couple choices:

sure maybe you could go for the cutie who later will disrespect you,
or you could go for the 'not as much a' cute who will respect you.

But the person who is both really good looking and will respect you, that person might be out of your league. (thus even if u tried, they wouldnt accept you)

Again, this is very situation dependent. The example posted above is my scenario, i dont know what yours is.
