meat loaf complete easy top notch meal

this is a simple complete meal that can be made and eaten for days. you can even eat it cold on sandwhiches.

1lb ground beef
3 whole eggs
1 cup oats
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped onion

mix it all up put it in a pan bake at 375 until its done to your liking. remember the rarer the beef the better it is for you.

top with katsup or bbq sauce for the last 10 minutes of baking

meatloaf is the shit....i usually use a small box of stovetop stuffing instead of the oats! and 3lbs beef! lol
 
I like leatloaf,

Gotta cookmit rare or its too damn dry! In the past I have added a large helping of crushed almonds as well, easy cals,.

I normall add olive oil, milk and oats as well to keep it moist.
 
Joe - cooked this the other night. It was awesome! Kick ass lunch meal also with the protein plus the carbs from the oats.
 
I did this the other day, I used to use crushed crackers and 1 egg in it all the time but the oats were really good and I suppose more eggs more protein in there as well.. MMMMmmmm Good Stuff.. Gotta love meat loaf..
 
there are definately things that will taste better added. the idea here is the quality of food for muscle building purposes but still taste good. the green peppers and onions cover the veggies, the oats and ketsup cover a balanced carb mix, and the eggs and beef cover the protein mix and fat. ezekiel bread also works in place of the oats. i think i had it worked out to 5 slices of bread in place of the cup of oats.

I have been doing about the same thing with some venison I stocked up on this hunting season. It has some added beef fat but is higher in lean protein. I have been using 1 egg in my mix with some minced onions and about 30g of oats. I also picked up some gourmet burger seasoning and throw some pepper in there. Tastes amazing. You gotta cook it at 400 degrees for about 40 min and it turns out great
