McDonalds for bulking???

Mmmm.... just ate my double quarter pounder w/cheese.

For me I limit the high sugar foods - those go to my waist line faster than the high fat foods. I'm sure there's people who will disagree, and that's fine. I don't have fancy research papers to prove my point. This has just been my observation on my own body. I used to eat a high carb diet, and I was chubby. Now I eat high fat, high protein, moderate carb and I'm not. And I eat a lot of animal fats, but my blood lipid profile is normal. Maybe that's because I take fish oil capsules. Just my 2 cents.. feel free to blast away. It's working for me, so I'll keep doing it. :)
 
Let's see...irolion eats clean, is very, very, very fast, very flexible, very agile, moderately lean, and stronger than 99% of the people on this board, AND 315 pounds.

I've always eaten clean when "bulking." Put shit in, get shit out.
 
I ask my body to put up with alot. The least I can do to repay it for keeping up with me is to give it some nutrients to work with.

I eat oatmeal, especially steel cut oats. I never said I ate low carb, just moderate. I don't eat tons of potatoes, rice, bread like some people when bulking - I find I get bloated and retain lots of water and get fat. IMO dietary fat has gotten a bad rap.
 
hey if eating like shit is working for you then stay with it, but untill you have tried eating relatively clean at the same caloric volume for a reasonable amount of time then how can you really compare the two?
 
when I'm bulking I just want protein every 2 1/2 hours, I dont give a rat's ass what source it comes from. So if I'm on the road and need to eat, fast food will do, if I'm worried about fat, I forgo the combo and get a couple grilled or crispy chicken burgers instead
