mccallum formula (proportions)

i've been using the following formula for a while now as a guide for my body sizes. it is by john mccallum and is based on wrist size.

Chest: 6.5 x wrist
Hips: 85% x chest
Waist: 70% x chest
Thigh: 53% x chest
Neck: 37% x chest
Upper arm: 36% x chest
Calf: 34% x chest
Forearm: 29% x chest

i'm very close to all measurements, but i feel this formula is missing something. SHOULDER SIZE. what i mean by shoulder size is, if you stood up straight with your arms to your sides, and you measured the distance around your upper body at your shoulders.

has anyone else experimented with this? how big of a shoulder measurement do you guys have relative to other parts of your body?

i'm looking to find a good formula to add to the one above. for example, shoulders: 7.25 x wrist or something.

i'd appreciate it if some of you guys with well developed shoulders would post your shoulder size and wrist size.

way too conservative!

Especially in the leg area!

My wrist is 6.75 and my chest already exceeds the desired values. My legs and calves are off the meter by 4 inches, and because of my big glute muscles, the hips are way out :)
I have a strong posterior chain I guess, yet I would not be considered to have a overly large butt :p
While my legs are big, they are not what I call tree trunk legs - certainly nothing that would look out of place on an athlete, and yet according to this formula my legs are way too big!

The only thing that lags under the values are my arms...
and too think that in the next couple of years, I'll add another 3 inches at least to every measurement I currently posess!

I think its a good formula if you want to stay fairly normal with skinny legs :)

OK so I am assuming that this formula is for men only. I think I would look pretty funny if my chest measured 42 inches-of course if my boobs were that big I don;t suppose it would be that bad, but then again I probably wouldn't be able to walk very far with boobs that huge.
 
Yes I think the formula is for men... I wouldn't imagine myself with 33inches hips. By any chance would you know a formula for females?
