Turns out they isolated a natural steroid in spinach that is non suppressive and made rats 20% stronger in 28 days. But apparently the average human would need to eat 2 pounds of spinach a day to get the dose required for that. But I wonder if there's a cumulative effect.....??? anyway, eat your fucking spinach nigga!!

I thought spinach has magnesium, not iron. Greens like spinach are high in chlorophyll which is plant blood. Chlorophyll is virtually identical to our blood except it's based off magnesium instead of iron, like ours.
 
Probably get the most benefit from spinach the same way you do wheat grass which is through juicing it. Certain plants are very hard to digest. If you ever eaten a rather large spinach salad, the following day you dump a rather large spinach salad. If you juice it you get out all the good properties and leave behind the virtually impenetrable cell walls.

There is a juice bar near me that does all sorts of dark greens like spinach, parsley, wheat grass, among other things and i literally feel like a million bucks after drinking some of their stuff.
 
spinach is just fine on my stomach, and I've been eatin a shitload the last couple days just to see if I feel different. Each can is about 13 ounces, probably three of that is water.....so I'm probably eating at least 20 ounces a day. That's still about 10oz short of the two pounds they say you'd have to eat to get enough of that steroid, but I'm hoping it's a cumulative effect. And not sure if juicing spinach would be effective as they recommend boiling it or better steaming it for just a couple minutes to enhance the nutrional value. I'll have to look into it.

Ummmm, that steroid they discovered in spinach has nothing to do with the iron content. Iron is not why spinach is good for you, but apparently from the googling I just did at your behest...in the past that is why people "assumed" spinach was good for you but than found out that the iron content in green foods is minimal. The chlorophyll content as well as the vitamin and mineral content of spinach is enough to warrant it being eaten, this steroid they found is just icing basically.
 
Popeye ate at least 2 pounds a day.
