May 14 - ATL EF Meet up & my show!

Figured I should put this up as we get closer to this date. I'm doing a BB show on May 14, the NPC Eastern Seaboard show, and sounds like some EF'ers are going to converge on the great city of ATL for some wild times and what is predicted to be an excellent afterparty (though I'm still not sure where the party is set for...)

Here's the website with show information. As we get closer I'll be adding more information about what's going on.


Hope you can join us for my first post competition drink & dessert since New Years!

Sassy, let me know the details. How far is your show from downtown Atlanta? If I go, I'm thinking about getting a room at one of the hotel's downtown.

The MARTA (train) is about 2 blocks from the Sheraton -- it runs directly from the airport. I will say I wouldn't be outside walking around downtown after dark though. Very strange people out....

Thinking of coming down Friday & leaving Sunday..... ummmm -- any hotels that are right near/close to the show hotel but not as expensive??

Not sure.....

He's not looking forward to the 12 hour drive -- he HATES the car. But he said last nite "Oh it's a weekend? Let's both go!" So, I'll see if he's still interested in a week or so....

Otherwise I'll put an inflatable mattress in the Explorer!! :lmao:

OMG, please don't sleep in a car. If you need a room, please PM me. I'm hoping the Sheraton is near the Hyatt, or any one of the Marriott hotels downtown.

Let's try and get a tally between now and next week on how many rooms will be needed. I know people...my people know people. (I'm a nobody at the bottom of a very powerful totem pole) :rolleyes:

True story, most of the hotels and chains in atlanta are clients of mine. If I can get a head count in enough time I can look into getting some discounted rates for all Sassy 05/05 supporters. (ie: embassy suites, drury inn, marriotts)

If you need help, let me know. I work for a certain hotel chain. I can get a pretty good discount (2 rooms max). If some of you girls are willing to share a room. You girls have to promise to behave (i.e, no strippers, or wild parties in the rooms) - I can't lose my job.

Bunny -- No stress... none at all... ;) Wine - another thing I hope to discover when learning about final show prep. If not before the show... AFTER!!!!!

I'm sure between us here in ATL and the hotels around downtown we will have everyone covered!
 
keep in mind a small bit of wine will help just before you hit the stage....as will other...er sups such as NO boosters and things like Viagra
 
Red wine helps a little w/ vascularity & also relaxes you when its time to get up & face the music....
 
I'm excited to get to meet bunches of yews....i was thinking name tags with our usernames on it BUT thought about it a bit more...i think if everyone will just bend over I'll be able to identify you better by your booty. Seen a whole lot of booty on this site. heh or perhaps just put bags over our heads and flex? Hrrrmmm. :p

I'll be the short blonde with glasses sitting next to the 6' Redhead -- Plus I'll be holding the giant posterboard that says "Sassy 2005" and yelling WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, if you call the Sheraton, tell them that you are there for this show. They should have a discount deal. I'm understanding its $99/nite. Also there is a free shuttle from the ATL airport to the Sheraton & from the Sheraton. There is also a Gold's Gym within about a block of the Sheraton. Its a big show & its designed to have everything AT the hotel.

I'm also informed by my trainer that I will be staying at the hotel probably Fri & Sat night. Anyway staying at my house will be a bit on their own.

i'm still going with the bag-over-our-heads-shirts-off-flex mode for proper identification. :rolleyes: But that's just me. Honestly, i think we'll have to introduce ourselves by our usernames...hah I think I know all of ONE real name on this site. Nonetheless, I'll be far away from jens calipers with a "sassy 05/05 supporter" sign.

That's probably the easiest because my house is out to the west and it just ain't easy getting around Downtown ATL. Freekin 1 way streets everywhere, and EVERYTHING is called Peachtree Street.

I will be - the trainer didnt' go into detail yet on what exactly we're doing yet. And we can use the Gold's Gym across the street to train, etc. Basically its going to be too hard for me to shuttle back & forth from my house to the show with all the other crap I have to do, and I"m not goign to be a bundle of energy after 2 days of water depletion....

This whole thing is pretty casual right?? I dont' need anything dressy or have to wear heels or a dress?? Can I stick with jeans & sneakers??
 
You can dress how ever you want. The night shows are sort of fun to dress up for though. And then the after party...! Or whatever party we create. If we get a limo or whatnot it might be fun to go all out & show off all our hot bods!

I know I"ll be dressed to do damage....! :evil:

Get some bootcut jeans and a dressy/revealing top. Bootcut jeans are casual, yet you can really dress them up w/ a top and shoes.

Jen -- jeans are definitely "in" -- I can't speak to what peeps where at clubs any more cuz I haven't been in one in hella long time (yep.. just what we need ... a 40-ish cruising the clubs... eeekkkkK!!!!!!) HOWEVER, that is one very kewl thing about BB shows. You can dress ANY way you want and be assured that there will be at least 100 more people who are dressed like they are going to their other job at a strip club, either as bouncers, male dancers or female dancers. They are great places to people watch!

Club clothes hasn't changed much Sassy! Clothes are still tight and revealling.

Jen, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I plan on being in jeans (tight) most of the time too. For the club, I will probably wear some tight, hoochie-like pants.

This is going to be so much fun. I feel like im in college; going away for Spring Break. ;)
 
Yep the days of partying like its 1999 aren't quite over yet.... I generally swear off jeans because they just get too hot. Every try peeling off a pair of jeans to go to the ladies' room after dancing w/ 400 other sweaty (often x'd out) peeps for 3 hours when it's 90 degrees outside? Ewww. The less, the better.
 
Well, as you can tell I've never been to Atlanta..... that hot huh?? Wow!! Guess I'll bring a skirt too. We don't have "clubs" here like other cities do, so I've never really been to one..... I'm taking LOTS of pics!!

Definitely brings skirts, shorts, bikini, halters, tanks, sandals.....by may....good LAWD the heat be fierce i tell ya! No need for hoodies, sweats (unless you gym-it-up in them) long sleeves, etc.

....don't forget you toothbrush....
