You are an animal! Congrats on your PRs! That is awesome. I felt like cheering you on through my computer when I was watching the GM vids :)

holy crap, 60 lb PRs are nice

with determination comes major progression. if i had to describe you, the thing that would come to mind first would be "determination^10"

great job man

thanks alot guys!

yea swain i like to go very deep on my gms and do them with a rounded back like 80% of the time...i figure alot of strongman stuff is done with a rounded back

1 arm farmers are a must see...they look rediculous but they feel really awesome...my obliques hurt alot now

I showed the 245X3 to a buddy of mine from another site that is a full-time personal trainer and he was like...

"Damn! If he keeps doing that he won't be able to walk in 3 months!"

I asked him "why?" and he said...

"He should be sticking his butt out FIRST and then lowering the weight. He's just bending over."

I'm not saying your doing them wrong, I'm just curious as to how everybody else here feels and how everybody would respond to his comments.

You know that I am IMPRESSED!!!! Anyone else on here understand how young that you really are???!!!!

Did anyone else notice that you REALLY picked up the pace on the sled drag when your mom yelled at you? Dude...I fully understand. You wanna see me with some speed...just get my mom mad at me and giving me that special 'look' that only mothers can give...

I want to make my tire flip better...I don't get why sometimes I get it high enough to flip my hands around and sometimes I end up using my elbows

Also I feel like I am losing valuable time in between each flip

difft strokes for difft folks.

i know that t3c is stronger than that PT when he was 16. t3c is lightyears ahead of him. its natural to be jelus.

t3c,

Your good-mornings look great. You should initiate the good-morning by breaking at the waist and pushing your butt back. The knees will begin to bend when necessary (based on an individual's flexibility). You were doing yours with a little round in the back and very deep which is awesome. You just have to know your limits and be careful. Great job!

Now, I'm not an expert tire roller, but I have quite a bit of process flow experience. Do you have enough grip surface/angle to get your feet closer to the tire? It looks like you can get more hip & leg drive if you do. If you can gain monentum at the bottom, you can sort of "clean" the tire up, & flip your hands around. Walking the tire up is causing you to have to use your elbows & forearms when you transition your hand placement, cause the tire is nearly stopped. Easy for me to say, right? That's one big tire.
After the tire comes down, you reset your hands & chest on top of the tire. If that's not required, it could cost you 1 second per flip. (I don't know if you're making sure the tire has stopped moving). You could go straight to the base of the tire again, butt down, & blast it off the pavement. Power certainly isn't your problem. Using the video can help clean up any wasted motion. Economy of motion equates to economy of time & energy, so you should actually have more energy to flip the tire more times in less time. (or something like that).

Drive On! Great job. Just how young are you??

ahh thats what i was looking for long arms...I think i got what you mean. I just printed that out

thanks man

Anytime. Look at the vids again, you'll see what I mean. I looked at them again, too. You might try putting your hands inside your feet, sumo style. Kinda like how the Highland guys throw the caper. I don't know how much grip will be affected. Again, I've never tried to flip a tire that big. It's hard enough doin the tires from my daughter's Accord.
You'll have to see what works for you.

I personally thought there was a little too much rounding in his back on those...

But, good intensity...that's what it's all about...
Just make sure u know what your doing...if u do...then no worries...

t3c you are an inspiration, i love watching your videos

the one arm farmers I may steal for a while they look like good fun....I just learned gunner walks today so it will be a while before i get the itch for something new....lol
