Mark Cuban Saying if Jordan returns might not be a top 10 on return

Cuban is right.

If Jordan comes back now, he definitely won't be a top 5 player, probably not a top 10.

That's not to say he couldn't eventually become a top 10 player eventually...after several months back but he would never be the best in the NBA again, never. How old is he now? Approaching 40? That's dog years in professional athletics, especially in the NBA where players' primes are usually mid to late twenties.

Remember his comeback last time? He was obviously off and not even close to originial form. It took him the butt-end of a season plus the playoffs (in which he got embarrased by perfectly average players like Nick Anderson) in addition to that summer to get back in shape. And that was a much younger Jordan after a much shorter layoff.

It won't happen. He may come back but he'll never be the best in the league again. A great player? Yes, of course he was. But no one is beyond the ravages of time. And that alone will be enough to keep this from happening: Michael Jordan will not play in the NBA unless he is the best player in the league; his ego won't allow it otherwise.

It's over Mike...put the ego away and stay at home.

MJ would Bitch slap the likes of Koby or AI

his level of play when he left just a few short years ago was Leaps and bounds above what the best players today play. Sure it would take him a preseason and a few games into the season to readjust but Without any doubt he would win the scoring title and out due anyone in the league his first year back

I truly don't think he could play with kobe, definitely not now. I personally think kobe is becoming close to as good as michael was in his prime, and kobe is only 23, which is just ridiculous. He is a superstar and all, but with talk of vince and iverson all the time, i don't think he gets enough credit of being no doubt the best player in the nba. He is the most rounded and can score at will and is very clutch. Its great he has so much left in his career
