did you guys read the article? the one dude he shot was 28 and when he was a high school senior he had "consentual" sex with a freshman. So he wasn't technically a rapist he was a statutory offender. I'm not minimizing that offense but it hardly seems like the reason to gun someone down 10 years later. The other guy was convicted of child rape so while I don't condone that one, I understand...wink wink. But something tells me these guys criminal pasts were not the reason they got shot.

if he walked in on a man raping a woman and in the moment killed him. that's one thing..

Well if he's guilty than yes he needs to go away. We obviously can't have people running around killing each other because "they thought it was justified".

But realistically, two scum bags are dead and a third in prison. So all in all it was a good day and the town is safer

the punishemtn for rape is NOT death. If it were, it would just encourage rapists to kill their victims after rapes. Is that what society wants?

Your right so called justice cost us the tax payers 30-40K per year to house shit bags in prisons....Some for life. How Fucked up is that. so a drunk 18 yr old in high school who bangs a drunk 15 year old that showed up at a party....that guy should be held in the same contempt as those 22 guys who gangraped that 13 year old girl in texas? If your mind really does work in those absolute's than i'm sorry for you...life must be miserable. He broke a "rule"...i get it there's consequences for that, not saying there shouldn't be. But he should never have been branded a sex offender to begin with.

Let's rephrase. A mo is a mo and a rapo is a rapo. No matter what.

The party scene happens all the time but who's to really say its consensual? I've seen how douche bags act at parties do its a 50/50. For the "legit" ones that really did make a "mistake" it's unfortunate for them and I don't think they should be labeled as such but I also don't think they need to be banging a 15 y/o at 20. This situation is very grey. That's why you have appeals and shit. When you enter the prison you get what's called a CRC (consolidated record card) that lists your charges time served ect.. And 2nd degree rape always make it farther than firsts for the reason that they're always young ones and most of the time it happened at a party.

eye for eye justice has been extinct in America for a few hundred years. People were being killed in saloon bar fights every night.

More talk and hype then truth to that statement.....wild west movies added to that. But yes eye for an eye part has been extinct forever.....we would rather say a serial rapist or serial killer is human and should get to live the rest of his life in prison, then do what's needed and death......the other sad part is it takes many years and many court appeals from the said defendant. All off witch lawyer's court appearances and cost is put back on people of the state just to follow through with the death sentence.
