I am in the process of making a good hardcore cd to listen to while I workout I was just wondering if you guys and gals had any suggestions. So far I have : Fear Factory, Slipknot, Metallica, Six Feet Under, Type o negative..........?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "The Crystal Method - Name of the Game". Can't workout without it.

absolutely ANYTHING Rammstein. there's no better pump than them. best shit for workouts comes off the herzeleid and sehnsucht CDs.

We have a lot of posts on the powerlifting board about music, do a search for meet day music and youll get some good songs off of that thread.

Machine Head
Dry Kill Logic
Slayer

some good songs to get

disturbed - meaning of life
disturbed - down with the sickness
meshuggah - war
fear factory - edgecrusher
fear factory - shock
fear factory - linchpin
anthrax - only
iron maiden - aces high
metallica - whiplash
testament - souls of black
sevendust - praise

Just made this one and sent it to Night Fly...just like the one I am currently listening to in my gym. I like variation...I will make a cd every 2-3 weeks. Often a lot of the same songs just in a different order, give or take a few.

Metal I
Pantera – Respect
Kid Rock – I’m a Dog
White Zombie – More Human Than Human
Godsmack – Go Away
Kid Rock – American Bad Ass
Bush – Machine Head
Saliva – Click Click Boom
Disturbed – The Sickness
Godsmack – Awake
Linkin Park – My Reason
CKY – Quite Bitter Beings
Tool – Sober
Motorhead – The Game
Drowning Pool – Bodies
Godsmack - Whatever

Damn B, you've got good taste in tunes for someone from KY:D More than half of those songs I have on my most recent lifting mix.

Take B's list, Lemur's list and add

Mudvayne, Slayer(Diabolous en Musica), Soulfly, Nailbomb, POD(boom), Limp Bizkit-rollin' remix

I'll be making me a cd again tonight:)

I had never heard of some of the songs on my cd...and ONLY listen to them when I train...

B True

Actually B, "My Reason" is from a band called Spiritfall. I agree with TB, you do have quite the taste in music. You as well, Lemur.

If I may, here some others that are recent faves ...

Soil - Need to Feel
3rd Strike - Blind my Eyes
Fear Factory - Resurrection
40 Below Summer - Rope
Breaking Point - Brother
In Flames - Episode 666
Killswitch Engage - My Last Serenade
Mushroomhead - Bwomp
Nonpoint - Your Signs
Reveille - Bleed the Sky
Simon Says - Dead Weight
Spineshank - New Disease

All those songs are about the same as what I use, but I feel one has been left off. Nothing gets me going like "Mother" by Danzig.

I'm not a big Marilyn Manson fan, but "Beautiful People" off the "Antichrist Superstar" album is a good one. I love the drums, especially.

White Zombie has a lot of badass songs. Pantera is definitely some thick, aggressive stuff.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Rage Against the Machine. Also, there are a few good heavy NIN songs I like as well.

Busy Child
Murder
High Roller
Blowout
PHD
Replacement Killers

All the above are by Crystal Method, and good to workout to. (At least I like them.)

Another one I like to workout to is the theme to The Sopranos. ("A3 - Woke Up This Morning")
