Main differences between bulking and cutting diet?

Paolo

New member
Ive been on this forum a few times and i see a lot of people talking about bulking and cutting phases.

I was wondering what are the main differences between these type of eating plans?

Is it just calories? is it the amount of carbs? the amount of protein or a combination of all three?

Please let me know as i am hoping to learn as much as possible for so i can apply it to my own diet etc.

Thanks

Paul

For my body ... fast, simple carb intact.

If I want bulk, breads, cererals, ice creme, Snickers added to lots of meat and veggies does it.

If I want lean, meat, veggies, eggs and water only make me paper thin.

I'm no chemist, but I'd say it is the insulin reaction.

Main differance is cals. When I bulk I really dont care to much as long as I get enough carbs and protein. I eat plenty of precessed foods that have simple sugars. If I am trying to minimize fat while gaining I minimize simple carbs. As well as fat, when dirty bulking I don't care what fat I have as long as I get enough proetein.

While cutting I eat really clean, good carbs, eliminating processed foods. And also trying to minimize unwanted fats.

CUtting also via carb cycling so you don't stall out on a static low-carb proportion of your diet.

I always take that for granted, as if people do it all the time.
