Turns out my source is unable to get either of them to lower my prolactin levels on my upcoming cycle. (Prop+NPP) I've sent a few feelers out but had nothing back so far. I’ve tried online and I can only get it shipped from the U.S without a script and the postage is ridiculous on it so after a quick google search if found these supplements with studies proving the effectiveness of them lowering level. The only thing is none of these studies have been done with people on steroids. So my question is, has anybody used these before, and if so how effective are they?
I will be getting bloods done throughout my cycle to see their effectiveness.
Ashwagandha – Study showed after 3 months it lowered prolactin levels by 15%.
vitamin E – Study showed after 8 weeks it lowered prolactin levels by 69%
Zinc – Study showed it halved prolactin levels
Mucuna Pruriens – Study showed after 3 months it lowered prolactin levels by 33%
SAM-E - In a study designed to investigate ‘The influence of S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) on prolactin in depressed patients’ the researchers found that, after 14 days, ‘there was a highly significant fall in prolactin concentrations in the SAM-treated group.
Any input will be greatly appreciated as I kind of don't want to hold off on this cycle, but I will if I must.
