Hi,
I was today at the doctor tested glucose {glucose tolerance test}..result..I have low blood sugar...I have too hypothyroid..for this I take synthroid 100mg/daily. My question is how hypoglycemic diet look? Doctor said me, that I must watch carb intake..so I'm not happy because few weeks ago I up my carb intake..and now I must watch it. he said me that for breakfast is not good oatmeal..I'm not happy too because this is my favourite meal..so please help me..what have I eat?
I know that I wrote here lot of threads and nobody want answer me..but I'm so flustrated.
thanks

I'm going to get tested for this soon, so there may be another member here to go through this with you (my mom had diabetes when she was pregnant with me and was diagnosed with Type II this year).

How low does your carbs have to be? When I low carb, I keep it between 60-80 and then when I carb up, I don't go over 130 (anything over that is too much for me and I wind up crashing).

Have you thought about reducing the amount of oatmeal? On my low carb days, I have 1/4 cup and I add lots of egg whites to make it more filling. If this isn't possible, you could always just have eggs and a turkey patty.

If you need someone to chat with or have questions about this, please feel free to PM me.
