First off, let me say that I have lurked on this site for awhile before signing up, and continued to read even more after signing up this past week. So, I just wanted to say 'Hi' and perhaps get some advice from some of you, perhaps a few have even had similar lives or experiences.
Age: 30
Height: 6ft
Weight: 280 lbs (was 295 lbs 2 wks ago)
Background:
In high school I weighed around 190 lbs with a 32-34" waist - fairly athletic skinny build. I hovered around there until I was in a bad car accident and I ballooned up to around 265-270lbs and a 38" (jeans) waist.
I stayed that size for a few years, ate pretty poorly and drank a lot of beer. Well, my friend got me into lifting some weights and exercising again. Except this time I wanted to bulk up so I decided to give the HIT weight lifting methodology a try (reverse pyramid). My friend let me try some andro (kind of popular then) and I don't know if it really did anything (stopped after 3 months), but after 1.5 years I was back to a 34" pant waist and weighed 230 lbs.
3 years later I am married, kid on the way, wife is in school full time, I am finishing up school and working full time. Suddenly, I don't have time to exercise anymore, or atleast that was my excuse at the time. So over the last 5 years I ballooned up to 295lbs with a 42" pant waist. Sad.
So -- enough was enough and I am finding time to exercise. Over the last 2 weeks I have turned my diet completely around, started exercising and lifting some. So far I have dropped around 15lbs and almost one full pant size. I can still bench 290 7 times and do arm curls with 50lbs dumbells. I've lost some strength, but not to bad for having so much time off.
Recommendations:
Should I continue to just do mostly cardio to try and burn fat and raise my metabolism again? Or should I also throw in some heavy weight lifting as well with some some sort of stack like sust/winst?
Currently, I have been doing 50mins of cardio 6 days a week and just some moderate weight lifting here and there. I would like to toss in some cycles at some point and go for gaining some decent mass. At what point should I really do that?
I am currently researching looking at the dbol, Test/Tren E, dronabol ds, sust/winst. Any advice on any of these? I think it pretty much comes down to personal choice and body chemistry, I am listening.
I have never used gear before, but looking to out do the work I did last time in the gym.
Thanks for listening to my obviously long introduction.
