Looked at the first house today....

#1 problem -- smokers!!! Yuck!! The smell would never leave!! Plus the homeowner was home and was smoking while I was looking around!! Double yuck!!

In comparison to my house: their yard is bigger which was expected and the yard was nice, had a deck....

Their house: My House:

Basement none full/unfinished

So, basically, for the money, I don't think it's worth it too much......

I thought it was hard when we were looking for houses. We were moving out of an apartment so any house was going to be better but it's hard to decide. And for as much money as houses are it's something you want to be sure about. What rooms are most important? For me I wanted an awesome kitchen. (Though we bought a house with a horrid one, tore everything apart, and now it's dreamy). Looking for them is kind of fun though!
