sounds like yall just had the water pump go out and it was several hundred dollars, the sewer backed up, the sink clogged in unrelated problem, then had the washer hose leaked water all on the floor, the semi-expensive vacuum crater and you go and get the shop-vac to finnish and see that someone has vacuumed
water several months ago and didn't take the paper filter off so it's molded and ruined and smells rotten, then you wake up this morning and the sewer isn't draining AGAIN, and you have to call a different plumber so you will have to pay AGAIN because the first one is out of town, and your having 22 people over tomorrow for a party so you can't afford to wait. Oh, no, that's not YOU, it's me.

what were you saying, who's having a bad "hair" day.....

YA THINK!! and I forgot to mention that I have a stark raving lunatic of a wife yelling at the top of her lungs, "I can't believe your just standing there! What are we going to do!?" That's after I've called all the necessary people and lined them all out to get to the house. I'm working, so it'd be nice if she could stay and let then in and out, but she's going to go run last minute errands, and can't. So I'm running back and forth from my office trying to do my jobs and do all that.

Yeah, hun, I'm just going to stand here, why don't you go and get the majic marker and put L&R on the tops of my boots, that way I'll know which one to step with when I leave this MF'er. OH, and I didn't make the bed up the way she showed me this morning AND, AND I put her coffee in the wrong mug this morning, I was supposed to use one of the new ones she bought for the party, seems to me like with everything else going on, that using one of the others so you don't have to wash one for tomorrow was the way to go, but, again, I was wrong. geeezzzzz. Give Me A Break.......

um i hope they instructed you on how to do it?
i used to maintain the annual and monthly budget at my old job and luckily so far in this job, no budgeting responsibilities. but, that could change

also, can i borrow 20 bucks?

nobody instructed me on shit.

plus, I have been here 4.5 months.... and have NO files regarding what we spent in 2007 for ANYTHING before I started. So i have no idea what tradeshows, and at what cost. most of the 2008 shows that I assume we'll be attending haven't even published their prices yet, let alone show logistics (shipping, electrical, cleaning, etc.)
I told this all to my boss, and said the best I can do is give an approximate average cost per show and a guess as to how many we'll be attending this year, but the truth is, i have NO clue.

Our CEO wants to attend a show in Dubai this year. well is that a $10,000 expense or a $50,000? or more? i don't know. prices aren't published yet, and i don't know if we've gone there before, or what we paid.

and, no, i don't know what a budget even looks like. a spreadsheet, i hope.
 
letto, i would hope they would at least show you the budgets from the last few years? that way you at least get an idea of what the line items look like. It would be funny if it wasnt even on a excel spreadsheet. lol
