was just in a meeting (big surprise). Client was on the speaker phone and the rest of us were sitting around the conference table.
I was introduced, but then had nothing to do with most of the conversation, so i was bored.

well i had a mosquito bite on my forearm a while ago that never quit went away. There's been a little bump there with a tiny black dot at the center that I assumed was a scab or whatever.

so everyone is talking on the conference call and I squeezed this little bump on my forearm. the little black center rose up and I pulled it out with my other hand. It was like an inch long (really 1/2" but an inch sounds more dramatic). I don't know if that was a stinger or a splinter but it was solid and long.

i look up and the rest of the people in the room are staring at me with horror.
