Liver Damage From AAS

True Story: A bro who I went to school with 9he doesnt use AAS) was in an auto wreck --> his liver was mashed potatoes and hemoragged; therefore, 80% of his liver was surgiucally removed. Shockingly enough @ either 2 or 3 years (I forget which) while getting a checkup on his liver it was discovered that it had regenerated to 100% of its original size and function.

The liver is resiliant as hell BUT THE KIDNEYS ARE NOT. A strained liver = strained kidneys ussually, so thats what id worry about.

But half assed responsible AAS use IMO truly shouldnt offer any problems.

If that little story about your buddy's auto accident makes you feel that your liver is bulletproof, then go ahead and believe it, but what you should realise is that physical trauma cannot be related to functional disease. It would be like comparing skin cancer to a cut on the skin.

Did you ever stop to consider why oral anabolics are never recommended for use for longer than 8 weeks max?

I'll tell you why. It's because going over that length of time is dangerous. There are scientific reasons for this advice...it's not hocus pocus. People actually get sick, very sick and some even die.

Unfortunately you won't hear from many people on here who have had liver damage from using oral anabolics. One severe liver accident is usually enough to keep them from going back for more and it's unlikely they'll be posting on a steroid forum.

There's also a degree of shame associated with sickness from oral abuse. Why would they come on here and have all the pompous disbelievers telling them they were idiots for not following the correct dosage protocols.

How much DBol are people taking to get their livers fucked?

Im curious.

Are we talking 50mg for 6 weeks, or 100mg for 6 months?

Good luck getting an honest answer on that. I know what did it for me, but I'm not going to publish it on here.

I don't think 50 mg for 6 weeks will hurt anyone, but 100 mg for 6 months will definitely fuck up the hardiest of livers. At 100 mg per day it wouldn't take 6 months either.

Beeep..."This is a recording, no two people are alike with AAS, or most other things, you can not generalize."

Start low and see how it goes.
Signs of Liver stress are pale stools (beige shit) yellowish tint to the whites of your eyes or skin. But before any of that, you will probably feel like shit in general.

Those are not signs of liver stress. Those are signs of shutdown. By the time you have pale stools and yellow skin and eyes you're already in the jaundice stage and most likely not training anymore. Your bilirubin levels are already through the roof at that stage, you won't be digesting much fat and feeling like shit...and losing weight rapidly.

Signs of liver stress are elevated levels of bilirubin, ALP, AST, ALT and most likely blood sugar. You need to catch it long before you notice jaundice. If you notice any intense itching, especially on the hands and feet, stop taking orals immediately and see a doctor. This will occur just before you start going yellow.

My pruritus (itching) took 2 months to subside AFTER I stopped taking orals, so prepare yourself for living hell. Imagine waking up with bleeding scabs all over your feet from scatching...if you can sleep at all that is. Because your liver is fucked at that stage, you can't take regular sleeping tablets. I had to use tranquilizers which keep me asleep for maybe 3 or 4 hours tops....and then another 20 hours of scatching an itch which doesn't go away. Trust me on this, pruritus is far worse than pain and relentless. People have suicided because of it.

Good luck!

^bro, I wasnt implying the liver is bullset proff to AAS use. Simply that if one makes a mistake and compromisises your liver it is arguably the most efficient organ in your body to regenerate and resume normal functioning.

Im read the baldnazi stories, I know its for real.

IMO you should never use orals for more than 12 weeks out of the year (6 weeks @ a time with ample break in between @ moderate dosages).

A common trait ive noticed has been that most of the horror stories past and present regarding oral induced liver problems (tumors etc) have always been with anadrol or dbol. Apparaently this is due to the estrogen- which in excess anywhere can make tumors benign or malignant proliferate @ much higher rates.

Im happy with my frame/size naturally so im never going to "blow up" with crazy bulkers, so when I incorporate orals into cycles ill most likely stick with the likes of Tbol for kickstarts and Anavar for cutting.

Read my question bro - I didnt ask how much my liver could take, Im asking about all these stories posted in this thread - how much did these people take?

Cholestasis can indeed be lethal. Cholestasis is the primary risk of taking c17 alkylated steroids, not tumors etc. The shutdown has nothing to do with estrogen, but the way the liver handles c17 alkylated compounds.
