Lifting around injuries

Would you guys recommend lifting around a shoulder injury if it’s not risking anything ? Like leg press machine etc?
 
I always still train when I have an injury. You just work around the injury and give it ample time to heal before stressing it again.

injuries need to be nursed or they will get worse

the problem is younger guys always assume they can get hurt and push through injuries because it worked for them all their life so far.. once you get into your 30's and 40's especially you push through injuries you end up making it worse
