Lets talk baldness

I always get some shedding on cycle from hormonal shock that seems to regrow after the cycle. I dont think im predispositioned for mpb though. there no longer a sponcer here but primordial performances toco 8 prevented the shock shed for me and worked well for my bro on cycle that has mpb. no sides healthy stuff!

I'd like to hear experiences regarding whether or not you lost hair during or soon after using Testosterone.

If you lost hair, was it lots?

Anyone on here lost hair to the point of noticeable baldness?

Anyone believe that you will only lose DHT sensitive hair regardless of amount of AAS use, so that in effect 1 cycle could be the same as 10 cycles in terms of hair loss.

I feel that my hair became less dense at the forehead hairline after my first cycle, now I'm trying to decide whether or not to continue on to my 2nd cycle.

It boils down to genetics really. I have worked with guys who used 4 grams of gear per week with full heads of
hair and others you use less than 500mg per week and shed. Typically once its gone,,its gone. Is balding prone in your family?

After/during my first couple of cycles I noticed a good amount of hair loss around the temples and hairline at the forehead. I went on finasteride, took all kinds of precautions. One of which was using minoxidil every night (supposed to be 2 x day, but I'm lazy). I quit using finasteride as I had trouble getting errections as well on it. The only thing I stuck with was the minox. I've cycled about 1/3 to 1/2 the year off and on for 5 years since and haven't lost a significant amount of more hair! I doubt the minox has much to do with it. I just think that I'm still losing hair at a "normal" rate for me basically. I'm 31 and a little bit of thinness at the front, but once my hair is even 1/2" long it isn't noticeable. I know a lot of guys with similar or much much worse hair lines in my age range. Mine actually looks good and gets compliments.

It's just weird that I shed right off and then not so much after that.

My father is experiencing noticeable thinning, but from what I understand MPB comes from the mother's side of the family.

My mom's dad has a full head of hair, but it's thin hair.

My mom's brother is the only one in my family who is truly bald.

Good info. Thanks.

Thanks for all the feedback bros.

It really boils down to this: Is hair-loss really an issue to stop one from cycling?

It seems as though either you are going to lose your hair or not, and that AAS can only accelerate, not cause baldness.

correct me if I am wrong but I believe that there is the chance that it can accelerate male pattern baldness if you are already predisposed to that sort of hair loss. Me genetically, I have a thick head of hair but whenever I cycle I do notice it thins out a little. Never has it made me think that I would actually go bald though.

this is correct

na brother. thats a myth. Can come from either side.

there are procedures to take care of this if you wanna spend the coin.

I visited one of those clinics with a family member who considered it.

The only downside is that they want you to take propecia for the rest of your life once you've had the procedure done.

I planned on taking propecia all through my first cycle & PCT, but found out that I am prone to propecia sides.

After learning about how DHT and estrogen are related, I decided that the sides are not worth it with this drug.
