There's nothing wrong with being a virgin as long as it enhances your life. If you feel that your virginity is actually making you unhappy THEN it's an issue, because maintaining a lifestyle that detracts from your sense of wellbeing is ... destructive and sort of perverse. If you do the virginity thing as a spiritual committment then it should be enhancing your happiness and sense of contentedness.

Well that's just wrong. You make that sort of committment because it's going to enhance your life. When it becomes a burden that defeats the purpose. You go from being spiritually enhanced to some miserable ass martyr telling everyone how fucking great you are because you're making this sacrifice. Turns from being a joyful sacrifice into hubris, actually.

Actually you're right, sex won't change your social life. You have to do that for yourself.

Do what my husband and I did, look for a "study group" or something similar that you can attend regularly, meet people with the same interests.

Part of our reason for trying to find a coven was the sense of community. If you have strong spiritual beliefs, get involved in your church or a bible study group, it can be very fulfilling and provide social interaction. You start having things to look forward to (because groups like that are always doing other stuff, like getting together for meals or on outings) and that sort of feeds itself.
