^^^ if you have a hard time waking up in the morning its 99% likely you are suffering from depression
I jump out of bed.. granted I love my job, love my life in general. but if I remember when I was a kid I hated going to school and I had a tough time waking up. its all about loving your day. hell on days I have a hot date or I am going on a road trip I get up extra early cause I am so excited
I agree fully, attitude is one of the key components in good life. Personally I have no problem waking up in morning, or with motivation. I have delt with some major issues during my life, and also have got rid of extreme depression that I suffered very long time. Since that's already some years in my past I'm pretty happy with life now, filled with energy, not a sign of that old lethargy that haunted me for years.
Still sometimes when running a cycle I can get pretty tired during afternoons, but that's complely different than the lethargy during deppression, just more physically tired from intense training. It seems to be pretty common while on "growth-phase", escpecially if not getting enough rest, and even then quite possible. I get by with things that have been already mentioned: black coffee, adjusting carb intake, and PWO stims if they are needed (usually they aren't).
If I train in the morning I will probably need a nap in the early afternoon. but I usually train after work so I can come home, eat and sleep. works out better.
I think also proper nutrition is huge. too many guys are scared of carbs... we need carbs because of all the intense workouts we do on gear. plus gear nutrition partition anyway.. so carbs should be frequent and spread out throughout the day. getting all your carbs in 1 meal for example won't fly even though the 'science' guys on youtube seem to believe that. we are talking about intense lifters who are on juice, not a 17 year old trying to crack 140 pounds
