Ladies of the board...squat suit?

Now we're talkin.

Hannibal already ordered larger suits. I'll get those on, and if they're too big, I can send back for a size between the 32 and 38, and add briefs.

Yeah, top priority is to get something that she can train in. I hadn't forgotten about groove briefs, but not for training. Once we get a training suit that works....we can tweak the comp suit and add the briefs. That's why I ordered the two sizes...so we could speed up the fittin process, and so she could have the larger one for training.

and as you get more experianced you can get a custom tailored suit. so no more trouble for you when that happens.

Spatts, I don't check out this board often, but did today....so here is my opinion/options...

First of all, holy crap you have big quads, I thought I did, but you have me beat by several inches.

I wear a size 26 Champion when in the 165s, but my quads are only 26 inches.

Major thing, make sure you are using suit slippers and have someone to help you in the suit. The first time in any of their gear seems to be the hardest.

I DO have the huge hips, ass....issue as well, and it seems to work the best by working on hip up, then the other until you can yank if over the hinny. :p It may take you a good half hour the first time.

If you do order a bigger size, it is easy to alter it yourself. I just zip the sides in as needed. Usually leave the bands on the legs as-is to reduce the amount of bruising and cuts, but take it in everywhere else.

ahh i wear a 26 champion, and i only have 22 inch quads... there must be something wrong with me...
 
Deciever there is definately something wrong with you. Eat more.

I am truly sorry I just saw this thread. I actually have some serious advice. . . for once.

First off, put the suit on before you warm up. If you are pumped, then blood is going into the muscles more, and your 28 inch thigh may in fact be closer to 29 while putting on the suit after a few squat sets.

Next. Make real certain you are putting the suit on somewhere air conditioned. Sweat makes putting on a suit very difficult. In that vein, cake yourself down with baby powder, to reduce friction, and absorb any sweat that does come up from the effort of pulling on the suit.

Finally, roll the top of the suit down like a condom (sorry, couldn't think of anything else that rolls like that) so you can get a good hand hold. get it pulled up as far on your thighs as possible, then work one cheek through then the other, kind of hitching the suit up a little on each side as you go.

Hope that helps you out, and also, it may be easier with a little bigger suit too.

wow... wasnt expecting that... :( lol

lol i am gaining weight though.. today i weighed in at a solid 142 (six pack still visible :) yay)

i just want to keep my weight below 148 til november, than below 165 until june.. so hopefully before you know it, i'll be 1/2 of screwball or big okie.
