When seeing a girl you have until the second date to kiss her (make a move in general) before you enter the "friend zone??"

Has anyone successfuly gotten out of the friend zone, and was it better/worse??? I've been in the zone for 3-4 years. Lately me and my BEST friend have been taking our conversations further each time. I'm pretty much scared to death to make a move on her just because i think she'll freak out or won't be there anymore. she made a comment about she never takes me serious because she thinks i'm joking about everything i say. I told her she intimidates me and her response was "get over it" is it more head games or is she telling me it's really ok to make a move? That conversation was texting (lame i know but we were both at work). I was thinking to kinda bring it up again in person so i can actually find out if she's being serious or not. haha i'm guessing that would be wise!?!?! or just flat out kissing her and if she reacts bad i can just say "get over it"

Don't over-talk it. Either just do it or just say, "I have to find something out" and just pull her close and kiss her. Don't shove your tongue down her throat just make sure it is hot and deep. Then if there is no spark and she looks embarassed just say "I just had to know" and leave it at that. If there IS a spark and when you pull away (for fuck's sakes, make sure you pull away first, this is critical!) you get the ffeling she's glad you kissed her then tell her, "That's what I thought". When she says "what do you mean" you follow up with "I always knew I'd like kissing you". She will then say, "well, what took you so long". Then, and this is most important, PIITB.
Seriously though bro, I gave a brief likely dialogue and thet will probably be how the thing plays out. Just don't over complicate it or try to come up with something overy romantic to say. Keep it light and be cool. Is she hot?

uuuuh yeah so i've decided to flat out give up!!! I asked her if she'd be my date for my works christmas party a few days before i started this thread (the party was tonight) her eyes got all big and she said yes really exicited like she didn't believe i'd ask her. We talked about it lastnight and she was still going and we joked about how "cool" it was going to be. She ended up texting me that she was "sick" and she backed out at the last possible minute... I think that was pretty chicken shit that of all ways to tell me she breaks the news by texting me. My director kept bugging me all week if i need two seats reserved and i told him yes a million times. I didn't know they were going to be the little tiny round tables made for 2 people. I had to sit by myself (the only one without a date there) I haven't felt that stupid in a really long time, and then having to answer "where's your date?" by 30 people. Maybe this is what i need to open my eyes.
