LA fitness referral program

I moved to a new city and there is a LA fitness just a block away from my house, I used to go to a local small gym in my home town, never tried LA fitness, they have this LA fitness referral program for new clients where my buddy gets a free month for bringing me. Most of the people there look like regular people that barely workout, are the big juicer bros ate a different Gym? I know sometimes those big names gyms are a rip off and bros use other cheaper places privately owned most of the time

I personally am not a fan of big chain gyms. The atmosphere generally sucks and they usually don't allow you to use chalk or deadlift. That being said, a gym is a gym. The biggest thing is making sure the gym is convenient for you and not a far drive.

Before signing any contract, get a one week pass to try out the gym and make sure that it's a right fit for you.

It depends on what you are looking for in a gym. As long as there is proper equipment and not a ton of stupid rules then go for whatever you want. Personally I train really early in the morning so I don't see a ton of people. I put my headphones on and get in the zone. Just don't curl in my squat rack!!!

Sincerely, when I go to a gym, I don't regard the others - as long as there is everything I need to workout, I don't give a shit. I just come there to do my thing. The same thing I would advise you to do - just do your thing, and don't mind the others. After all, your personal performance does not depend on them.
