L-Glutamine: The Craving Fighter!

I found it interesting in that it was touted as being good for "Low carbohydrate dieter", as I was under the assumption that while it is good for cravings, it also kicks most people out of Ketosis. Isn't the whole point of the low carb diet to be in Ketosis? I thought it was, and if L-Glutamine can kick you out of ketosis, isn't it pointless to use it to control cravings?

thats just my 2 cents, Im not sure if I am 100% correct, but that is just my analysis of the situation.
 
To my knowledge there havent been any studies to substantiate that.
But heres what Mr. X has to say about it:
