Kosher supplements supplied in bulk?

Veto

New member
Do any of you guys know of any companies that deal with bulk (10-100 kg) amounts of kosher supplements? Things like lycopene, 5HTP, creatine, and CoQ 10? If any of you fellas in the know would be able to point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful. Thanks to all who reply.

if i was jewish, and i lived a good life and treated others well,,i be damned if i go to hell b/c i ate some non kosher supplements

lol i should have specified a bit better. i broker mostly fruit juice concentrates and essential oils and about six mo ago had a small amount of business dealing w/ nutraceuticals. that sort of fell to the way side a while back but then out of nowhere yesterday i get a call from someone looking for the above said items koshered. i never heard of anything like that before so i figured i'd run it by some of the helpful fellas here at elite and see what came up. any other suggestions on large companies (overseas or what ever) that might specialize in this kosher supplement thing are more than welcome. thanks.

Judging by the flag on its front page, this would probably be a good place to start.

Jarrow is pretty well respected FWIW.

P.S. What's the difference between kosher food and normal food?

Just looked at the bottles of 5 different Jarrow products that I have here. No mention of them being kosher. They do make excellent quality products though. Been selling them for years, and receive great feedback from customers.

The only product I can remember seeing that mentions being kosher are Balance Bars. You have to read the label though. It depends on where they're manufactured. Some are and some arn't.

Hey vito, Mah shlomcha? Meyefo ata?

You might run into a few different problems. When you are buying bulk it is not likely to be in a container with the hechsher on it as in retail products.

Also, what products are you looking for specifically? You might have to strike a deal with the manufacturer to buy in bulk. For protein supplements I have used a manufacturer maxi-health. I eat pig myself but once I was staying in crown heights NYC, and needed kosher protein.
