I wish Frank came back to UFC, he would down Franklin, i actually think Hendo would too, but it would be close. Hendos fight with Big Nog was rediculous, no way Franklin could submit him after seeing that.
Penn SHOULD have beat GSP, he was whoopin his ass. All GSP did was take Penn down like 3-4 times but did NOTHING on the ground. Penn didnt have a scratch on him post fight......GSP went to the hospital!

Arlovsky would get smashed by Fedor. Crocop would put him to sleep and look what Fedor did to CC, hes the ultimate all around fighter with the best GNP (actually standing GNP, full punch extension).

Chuck DID go the the GP, got owned by Page. Id still love to se Wandy kill chuck though, both only stand up and as much as i hate Wandy, hes amazing, goes toe to toe with HWs like Hunt and CroCop....the man is fearless.

Tito will run through Shammy again, i think he will take Lidells belt as long as he doesnt get poked in the eye!
 
Frank Shamrock was and is phenominal no question. Fedor is the biggest study ever and would w/o a doubt put out any competeing heavyweight today. Cro cop is just crazy talented and awsome also. Tito will beat ken like he did the first time around I hope. I do not think tito will take lidell out, lidell & couture proved to be to big of a challege to tito. Lidell is better than tito on the ground & standing up. I love tito dude, just like his octagon presence and how he fights.
 
Tito was going toe to toe with Chuck, taking punches before he got eye gouged, then it took like 15 shots from Chuck to floor Tito. Chucks TD defense is good, but once hes on the ground TIto would wreck him i think (When Titos on his game, he is dominant on the ground), not to mention he has way better cardio then chuck. The problem is Chuck is such a good counter puncher, i think tito has a good chin though and could last (i still dont think chuck Koed Randleman, looked like a flash knockdown) and hes taken chucks punches before (the first round, he was eatin them and still standing).

I just wanna see chuck loose, hes not the best, i think Wandy, Shogun, Arona, Page, and Tito could all beat him. Arona went the distance with Fedor for Christ sake and it was close!
UFC protects guys though, thats why they wont feed chuck to those guys, or let Sylvia fight JLB (good fight).

I actually would love to see McDonald learn BJJ and get a ground game, he is wicked on his feet, more fluid than Crocop, minus the LHK!
 
Well Chuck was a better wrestler than Tito when they use to wrestle together back in the day. I think tito and chuch should rematch and I'm sure it will happen in the near future. I do think tito will get KOed though. I love tito so I would like to see him the champ again. Chuck can be dominated pretty well though as we saw in couture lidell 1.

I think it is true though the UFC does protect there fighters from tremendous threats. I jsut wana see BJ Penn Hughes 2 damnit! lol... 61 is going to be quite entertaining tho, can't wait for that one.

Micheal McDonald from K1? Yeah he is so awsome to watch! His stand up is flawless. I dont know how well he would do in the mma though, even if he did pick up grappling & submissions. I think cro cop would beat down McDonald in stand up though without a doubt. Height and reach becomes a factor there. Cro Cops leg kicks are far superior also.

In a standup, im not sure, i still think McDonald has better hands and combinations.....CC relies too much on his LHK as of late...Fedor took it away and CC looked like a completly different person after that, not aggressive, not doing much of anything.....id like to see it....McDonald should take the same route as CC, work on ground defence and TD defense...CC doesnt really have a ground game either, but its fuckin hard to get him there.

Yeah theres no doubt that McDonald has better hand combos, but McDonald relies alot on his hands & less on his legs from what I've seen. I think CC would own McDonals but thats just me.

Yeah I was insanely hyped to watch Penn vs Pierre and I gave the fight to Penn myself. I think Penn was tailor made to beat hughes although matt has improved alot since then. I by no means think Hughes is over-rated but he's definately not un-beatable. I am anxious for the Pierre Hughes rematch, but for some reason I think hughes will pull of another victory & penn will get his rematch. Yeah Penn was phenominal at 155 but at 170 he's chunky and "looks" out of shape. One think I did not like is when I read Ultimate Grappling mag and they did an interview on Penn. He said he was gonna take his champ title back from hughes then after that he was going to move up to 185 and take the belt from franklyn! I mean c'mon! w/e though Penns one of my favs in mma along with many others like Frank Shamrock who i hope we see more off.

Yeah I want to see the rest of the fight card for 61 and GP looks awsome also. Yeah Dana is a bitch and won't put his fighters on the line. No wonder tito, Penn, and Frank hate danas gutts and im sure many more.
 
Micheal McDonald? Ive seen him in 3-4 K1 fights and he has never impressed me like CroCop has. McDonald is fast and smooth with great athletic ability but he does not have the power CroCop has. CroCop would KO him in the MMA with those long round, maybe McDonald could outpoint him in K1 but I wouldent bet on him.
 
You guys know your shit, but I personally think Rich Franklin wants know part of Hughs, he even said it himself Hughs is just to fucking strong. Did any of you see the hughs frank trigg fight. Hughs got kicked in the ball and was choked out, this mo fo was able to break the hold and choke him out. This was one of the best fights I've seen in a comeback fashion. Hugh's eyes were rolling back in his head and he still came back. Unbelievable. Franklin is a bad ass though.
 
Ortiz is the better all around athlete. Shamrock is tricky and has a wider variety of skill. Its hard not to bet on Ortiz but shamrock wants a piece of him bad.
 
Shamrock is a great fighter, but it just seem he lost his edge, ortiz has to much skill, but ortiz didn't impress me in his last fight. I forget who it was against, but it went the full 3. He should of kicked his ass, got to give the edge to ortiz anyway
 
Forrest Griffen has been kickin some ass lately. To even think one of the firsts fights he was in after the show was someone as skilled and a champion as ortiz was and to KO his ass. He lost in the rematch but it went the whole 3 and I heard he should have won.... I still wanna see it. With shamrock.... I want the guy to beat ortiz.... but i dont see it happen. I used to hate ortiz and like shamrock.....but after watchin the UF show I kinda like ortiz. It will be fun to watch. I dont care who wins, I just want someone to get the shit beat outta em.
 
Forest Griffin is definitely a great champ! It's his determination that carries him threw. He isn't the most skilled fighter but can bang w/ the best of em and he just never gives up. Tito fought him w/ a very bad knee so he couldn't shoot as fast or perform as good as he usually does. Tito will wipe the floor with Ken like he did the first time I think. I like Ken to some degree but not nearly as much as his brother Frank, now he's something else. When Frank was champ back in the mid UFC's such as 22 Tito challenged him. The title of the fight night was "There Can Only Be One Champion" and Frank wiped the floor with Tito. It was a hell of a match-up.
 
i used to see tito and tank abbot at the harbor house in huntington beach a lot back in the day. yeah tito juiced, tank was just big.

Jesus with all this talk about frank I need to see some vids. I havent watched the old UFC sense I was like 9 and used to rent them. But from what I last saw of frank he got his ass kicked. Got any good rentals? Im def going to have to see 22.

Ill def give it to pride when it comes to heavy weights.... without a doubt. The idea of silvia being a "champion" is a joke to me. But I do not think that pride is ALL better then UFC. Both have some good competition. Pride does have a rediculously skilled heavy weight... id like to see them mix more.
 
The tito/ shamrock beef is fake. They do it for the show and their up and coming fight. Its all about the money bro's! :chomp:

His punches must be like gettin hit with a rock. That John Matua K.O. is still classic I think. I don't think he ever showed his face again. Some other guy he knocked out fell against the cage all twisted with his neck turned to one side. Tank was just smiling to the camera. I'm sure he could get up 650 easy. His spotter didn't look like he could do much to help though if he couldn't.

Tank cannot compete with all around athletes. When the UFC started up it was full of 1 skill martial artist that really couldnt fight. Thats what abbot proved. You can be a BAD ASS black belt and get your ass kicked by someone that can really throw down. Now fighters have learned that and arent 1 demensional. But hes prob my fav straight up street fighter.
 
speaking of tank, they replayed last nite on unleashed when frank mir caught him with the toe hook in 45 sec of the first round of ufc 41 back in 2003. that was tanks first apperance in 5 years or some shit since he got knocked out by pedro rizzo at ultimate brazil
