Just thought I'd share

Hungry? What is that? I get to eat MORE nowadays! ;)

Not only that, but I get *very* nauseated if I let myself get hungry. :(

That hunger will be worth it - you will so AWESOME at your show. Yay! :heart:
 
SOOOO sorry for hijacking your thread ladies, but can I ask how many cals you are eating during your cutting diet?? A trainer friend of mine has told me that I am eating too little so I am now between 1500-1600. It is so confusing. I thought it was eat less and shed fat!! Thanks ladies...B
 
B- I cut to around 8% for a recent BB show. The whole point is to fuel your body so that it burns fat as optimally as possible. If you feed it too little, it will think it has entered a "famine" situation and will adjust your metabolism down so that it can preserve the energy sources (bodyfat) that it has available. You want it to think it has a never ending supplly of energy, but not so much that it bogs down trying to process the input and shuttle out what it can't use. So you have to find the sweet spot where it all balances out & you get optimal fat burning.

So, no its not a matter of eating less as much as it is what you eat and how you use that to manipulate your body into setting its metabolism for the best burn rate :)

Be sure to put your daily food menu into a food counts program like fitday.com so you can associate what you ate w/ your progress and see what works & what doesn't. It is all really a big fat experiment to find out what combinations of stuff work best for u.
