Jump Squats

Mr Taranenko only does them with 100kg (220lbs)

but his best olympic back squat is 380kgs (873lbs).

i dont think it would be that wise until you are that strong

be careful

30% is the most of you should use, once you go past 30% velocity is so slow that power output is quite low, makes it pointless. Might as well do speed squats then :)

Even 30% is too heavy IMO.
 
Thanks for the input...at 135...i am pretty explosive...i squat 475 for a 1rm...anything higher might be too slow...
