Why do ya'll get so upset when you get banned from mm.com? I mean, I can understand matt or a regular long term member, but when the E/F members join just to raise a little shit, why are you surprised?

I have to tell ya's something. I got banned from E/F for doing the same shit that you guys do to mm.com. That's right, I came here and posted two links to alternative bb forums and good ol' Georgie Pordgie here deleted the thread and banned me. I bring this up not to start another mm.com vs E/F flame war, but to point out that nobody likes it when their boards are spammed. Georgie banned me cause it's his f*cking website and his f*cking right. Same goes for Tim, it's his webiste and if he doesn't want certain shit going on at his board, it's his right. People thus have a choice, conform to the rules of each specific forum or leave.

E/F members that join mm.com to become actual productive members instead of just spamming the board are more than welcome. It's when you guys make an outrageous post and come back here and say "guess what I did at mm.com" that ya's get deleted or banned.

I agree its up to the owner, but I think the biggest gripe is when mods ban members, it shouldnt be up to a Mod.
 
I got banned from musclemag for posting a link to dpsnutrition.

Once LP, Beercan, etc left, the board became shit.
 
i was banned for posting links to other forums too. EF is no better then mm.com :angel:

It seems anyone who posts there gets banned....like wtf is that all about? They sound like a bunch of Nazis over there......so, you post links to other sites...who cares? If MM.com think they are the best, they wouldn't be threatened by other sites.....so, obviously they know they suck and they have no confidence....

Uh, sorry WHO has been banned for posting links.... I can't REMEMBER anyone EVER.

I have only EVER lobbied for one guy to be banned when he hosted a link to some pretty disgustingly bad taste WTC clips. Even then I'm not sure he did get banned.

Mods here CANNOT ban people. It is down to the administrators, we just present the case and post the links to the relevant threads.

And anyway, Bilbo, you said YOU where banned from here. Obviously not.......

Don't even compare mm to here, by and large the mods here try to remain objective.
 
I agree with Julez...the mods here are far better and more knowledgable of what these forums are for and represent than other sites.

Not a moderator over there that knows the difference between a db and a barbell.

Only cool moderator at all is Dino but the rest are sitting on the ban em button.......wooooooooo the power of it all.

Sorry, but I have to respond to this. I run another popular board, but I view and post on almost all of them. There is no way that an owner can ban all the members that need to be banned. There is no way to keep up. I cannot be on the board 24/7. I have mods on at all times of the day and night to help control the board. I only make those who I trust a mod. If I can't trust them to ban people when it is appropriate, I would have never made them a mod.

Sorry to hear you got banned from MM Julez.

You both know that the majority of Moderators do not have the power to ban a member. Yes, different mod's will add their input on someone, but not all mod's participate in all bannings and rarely does someone get banned w/o discussion amongst several mods.

W8lifter- i remember the pics that you posted on MM of one of your competitions. There was a 15 year old girl in the line up with almost no muscle tone...Did she even place? what was up with that?

No she didn't place...but then neither did I :D

It was her first show, I give her credit for getting up there...she was so nervous she was almost puking backstage. Wish I'd had guts to get on a stage in my bikini at her age, LOL

Where are you from W8? The Captain is coming to you from NJ.
 
Well even though I didn't place I came in 7th out of 30 girls so I was pretty happy w/ that. I'm in Ontario. My husband was just in New Jersey last weekend for a Grappling tourny :)

7 out of 30 is very decent. Where in NJ was your husband for the Tournment? Atlantic City? What style does he practice? Hoyce-Gracey? (sp?)

I'm not sure exactly where it was, I didn't go. It was the North American Grappling Championships. He's a No-holds-barred fighter. His main discipline is BJJ/grappling, but he also does kickboxing.
 
I took those pics at W8's comp Captain and believe me she should have been at least top 3. It was bs she looked like a million bucks.:)

You better be otherwise there is going to be some ass kicking going on lol Seriously you should have been top 3....I was very suprised and the pics only back my words.
