we went to an all inclusive and my hubby figured out how much alcohol he needed to drink everyday to maximize his return. I don't think I ever saw him without one LOL.

also...starting some supps starting tomorrow to help shed some unwanted bf. i'm going to be taking 2-3g of l-Carnitine and CLA each day. my fiance's sister works for MHP and there is a nutrionist on site...so i asked about my zyprexa and stims and he said it's def not a good idea to take stims while on this medication...he told me instead to do this and i should see decent results. we'll see what happens

jk...i've never used it so i can't say it's junk yet or not. take 2g a day....we'll see how it goes. also switched to cottage cheese with pineapple this morning instead of a shake.
 
yesterday woke up...had some cottage cheese and pineapple...drank a little joe and hit the gym.

worked some abs...leg raises and rope crunches. then did 48 minutes on the treadmill 2.6 at 12% incline. was pretty impressed i stayed on that long :)

todays diet

meal 1 1/2 cup of cottage cheese w/pineapple
meal 2 1 1/2 cups of eggwhites
meal 3 4 meatballs (beef, pork, and veal)
meal 5 1 can of tuna
pwo muscle milk shake with 1 banana
meal 6 baked chicken and green beans
meal 7 2 tablespoons of anpb
 
on the treamill? yeah....i kept thinking about what ronnie colmean had written on his wall in one of his videos. "if you always do what you always done. you'll always get what you've always gotten." usually i would have done about 20-30 minutes but i said fawk that....it's time to shine!
 
changing my pre and post workout shakes....

going to use muscle milk before.....and then 2 scoops of whey right after. so i'm basically adding in another 350 cals to my diet 4 days a week. i usually don't have anythign preworkout...just my can of tuna about 2 hours prior to lifting. this leaves little room for error as i want to stay around 2000 cals for the day while cutting. so on avg this is what my day will look like

meal 1 cottage cheese with pineapple 140cals
meal 2 1 1/2 cups og eggwhites 142cals
meal 3 6oz baked chicken 215 cals
meal 4 tuna 160 cals
pre workout muscle milk 350 cals
pwo ON whey with a banana 380 cals
meal 5 6oz baked chicken with green beans and 1 cup of wild rice 476 cals
meal 6 22 almonds 164 cals


Total: 2027 cals

Fat: 56 503 26%
Carbs: 109 369 19%
Protein: 259 1035 54%

switching to a 30 second rest interval btwn sets for the next 7 weeks and keeping my reps btwn 12-15 (pre honeymoon). this absolutely sucked by the way....i felt like a huge pussy but whatever and i think i let out some kind of girlish squeal on one of my last sets which of course had the lightest weight on.

incline pushups burnout set

legs 30 seconds rest btwn all sets...2 minute rest between exercises
squat machine with back supprot 3x15,12,12***needed to take a few minutes to catch my breathe and to try and walk...holy shit that was tough!

leg press 3x15

leg curl 3x15

leg extensions 3x15

the lactic acid buildup was unreal had to stretch for several minutes bedore i could do abs....

10 minutes on treadmill and 10 minutes on elliptical


todays diet

Just a thought amigo.. have you thought about adding more carbs (maybe 1/2 of that 1/2 cup oatmeal) up to PWO? And then maybe putting in that ANPB in with meal 5?

I think post workout is a good time to absorb more than 30gs of carbs and I think the meal following pwo shake is a great time to add some healthy fats. Just a thought, don't mind me.
 
pwo is about 40g of carbs with a large banana and whey shake. then 1 hour later i hve my oatmeal and veggies which is nother 40g roughly. my last meal is usually anpb so that's where iget the bulf og my healthy fats....but if i skip this meal i'll be sure to cook my chicken in oliveoil

There ya go. I didn't realize you were a large banana kinda guy:) Lemme ask you this... let's say you use a tablesoon of olive oil and cook your chicken breast in the pan... will you count the entire tablesoon if you were to fitday? Often there is some considerable residue in the pan and I am not sure if I should pour that onto the chicken or not to make sure I get that full ttablesoon worth of fats?
 
i bake mine most of the time...less of a mess. i pour it on the chicken so i'm dead on balls accurate with my cals....i would spray the pan with fat free cooking spray and brush the chicken with the desired amount of olive oil if using a pan

Thanks for the tips. I've never baked anything I'm more of a stove-top/microwave kinda guy. gotta work on that:)
 
baking is alot easier....when i get home from the gym i have to feed my dog, let him out, shower and cook....so i just throw it in the oven for 20 minutes and it's done

I gotta get my landlord to look at my oven I don't think it works to be honest. I tried to pre-heat it once and it never left room temp. Anyway, I'd k ya but it says I gotta spread some around first!

$.02 if you stall a bit, I'd check the ingredients on the foods to make sure they are minimal processing (i.e. my oatmeal comparision). Should help move things along if needed. :)


**edit'd to ADD be very careful though, as your honeymoon may not be that enjoyable if you are swollen and piggish from " eating like an asshole " (who do i sound like) i.e. keep a cheat meal in there
 
typically i only eat the oatmeal once or twice a week to keep me sane. everything else is chicken, tuna, eggwhites, green veggies and cottage cheese. thx for the tip :rose:

p.s. haven't had a sip of alcohol in 25 days :)

hahahaha.....great quote!!! yeah the yes def helps a little at this stage in the game. this is where i always seem to stall though. i'm gonna keep plugging away on the cardio until i get to where i wanna be. on the weekend s i've been hitting the gym twice sometimes...

yesterday i got extremely lazy b/c i had to do a bunch of things after work....ended up not cooking and ordered chinese "the triple delight" (shrimp, beef, and chicken) with mixed veggies in a brown sauce....no rice. i asked what was in the sauce and they said a little sugar, soy sauce, and some spices and cornstarch. not great but i wouldn;t consider it a cheat meal as the portion was not that big. i would say cals were around 500. so i skipped my anpb before bed so i would keep my macros around the 2000 level :)

had a long weekend....took friday off so i can get my cortisone shot. back feels good now...we'll see how it feels after rows and t-bar rows :evil:

sat i did 25 minutes on treadmill 12% incline @3.0, 5 minutes elliptical, about 3 minutes jump rope

sun i did 30 minutes on elliptical

with that being said i kind of ate like crap both days...pizza, chicken sandwich w/ mayo etc.....i also broke out of my cocoon friday night and had 6 beers at some happy hour bar. whatever...time to get back into it again....diet will be extra sharp this week!!

meal 2 1 cup of eggwhites 1 med apple
meal 3 8oz of baked turkey breast
meal 4 1 can of tuna

i can't wait until this honeymoon kicks off...beerfest diet in full effect brutha lol!!

i must say after a 1 month absence of any alcohol my tolerance was much lower. i am embarrassed to say that after 6 beers i felt a slight buzz...god i'm terrible

Hey man, on the other hand, if a six pack doesn't get you the least bit buzzed, you're drinking too much too often IMO!!

besides, it's cheaper this way. Good luck staying focused this week... let's save it all for the chips and dip and wings and pizza on Sunday.

I'm not doubting you one bit...but me at 7.9% and I was shredded, full 6 pack, obliques, quad sep........not saying you can't get there, just saying many think they are a TON less than they really are......post up some pics.....

^^ It's also important to realize (for those that don't know) 7.9% bf for JK will NOT be the same for JPT, regardless of potential operator error etc... :) No two people are alike etc...

only thing I am saying is that I hope you get to 9% or whatever your goal is.....the second pic you posted (not the clothed one but the 2nd pic in the same thread) is NOT 10.1%.......trust me......I have judged amateur shows (very local events, etc.) and have seen every level of fat you can imagine. I was 7.9 hydro......I was 2.3 with the 3 point caliper.......jus an fyi.......I would wager you are about 12% which is stil DAMN DAMN good!

Again, what bunny said... everyone will look a bit different at different percents. Unless you all have the same bone mass, organ mass, height, ect... it's fucking worthless to compare like that.
