thanks, do you have the totals or do I have to work that out myself lol?
thoughts lolI read the thread title and thought verythoughts lol
Nice recipee Joe. I eat a lot of lean ground meatballs and whole wheat noodles pwo. I am going to try this to mix it up.
i didnt even notice that lol. the meat loaf doesnt taste bad at all. it could be made different if you dont like the taste of the oats you could replace them with whole grain breed. just let it sit out and get a little stail then break it up small and use 1.5 cups of that.
glad to hear you like it.
yah, do you know the totals in 100g lean minced beef?
Ill send you some K for it too
how do we know the fat ratio of the beef he bought?
That has got to be the most basic of basic recipes IO have ever seen. I guess it gets the job don though right.
Anyway if you could care less about calls and just want the best tasting meatloaf you have ever had in your life. Well then this is a recipe
Ingredients:
3bs beef and 2lbs ground pork.
Put the meat in a bowl.
Add this
8 Tbsp A1 sauce
2 Tbsp beef base. I like Prasteen
2 Tbsp ms dash
1 Tbsp salt, Sea salt is the best
3 Tbsp basil
3 cloves fresh garlic
1 cups some times more of Italian bread crumbs.
Half cup Vidalia onions. Vidalia onions are sweet and believe me they are the best for a meat loaf.
1/4 cup milk or cream if you don’t care about fat
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Mix this all up. If it feels too mushy add some bread crumbs.
Over mixing is counterproductive and will ruin the final outcome.
Once you have a pretty good consistence throw it all on a well greased .
Then just look at it. If it is really falling apart and you can’t get it to hold crack 1 egg and crush it in your hands, spread it all over the meat loaf. Rub it completely over the surface thoroughly and you’ll feel it start to come together and start to hold. You will know when it is where you want it.
If it is already holding pretty good just use water to seal it the rest of the way. You want the end product to be very smooth on the out side.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes at 350 then on cover and cook fore anther 25 minutes. If you don’t cover for the first 20 minutes it will dry out.
it is verry simple and verry healthy and it doesnt taste bad. this one looks like it tastes good but not to good for you. i will try this one one once i get the clean bill from the doc.
LOL. Crap for your health huh. Sure as hell sounds good though. I LOVE meatloaf. A tasty way to die IMO.O ya this recipe is crap for your health lol... But for taste mmmmm mmmmmmmm its ta die for. Literally![]()
