Jérôme LeBanner: Hi, yeah indeed I'd like to issue a challenge to a well known MMA fighter from the USA.

- Great! But who is he? A UFC fighter?

Yeah he's a UFC fighter. I'll give you a few hints: he's tall, a striker, and wears ridiculous sunglasses (laughs).

- (laughs) Sunglasses? That must be Tim Sylvia right?

Exactly!

- Why do you want to fight a MMA fighter? And why in the USA and not in Japan?

Actually I just want his sunglasses (laughs). No seriously, I love UFC, the USA and MMA. I've been paying more attention to MMA lately and I'd like to fight under these rules more often. I liked the ground training with Dean Lister and I'd really like to keep on improving. For my fight against Karaev at K1 New Year's Eve, it was the first time I trained seriously on the ground. And I must say I liked it. Against Karaev I didn't only try to survive on my back, waiting to go back on my feet. Ok my takedown attempt was pathetic... but it was the first one in my life!

- Why Tim Sylvia?

I agree completely. Other than being damn big, I can never figure out why guys don't try a takedown more often. It's not like he's a great sprawler like Liddell. Sylvia on his back would be like a turtle on it's shell in the sun. Done like dinner.

I never really liked Tim Syliva. His fight with Ausserrio Silva really did it for me.

I think Arlovski is over-rated, also....although obviously not as over-rated as Sylvia.

how can he be overrated? I've never heard more then a handful of people saying he'd do better then average in Pride HW Division
all people usually say about him is he's Dominant in UFC

IMO he's not over rated, but the whole HW division in the UFC is lacking. In that regard, Arlovski is over-qualified for the UFC

Let's hope they get some more talent for him to punish (or lose his title to!)
