Well guys just got back from the ER. Yep it was an infection.
As most of us know our bodies so well and know when something is wrong.
They took blood and hooked me up to an IV with a slow drip of antobiotics. They gave me the lecture about using Anabolic's injecting your-self and so on. Of course my girl heard all this and now she is like are you going to stop now.
From this expierence if you think you have an infection you should go see a doc or have antibiotics on hand.
I was actually glad they didn't lance and drain it right there although that would ease the pain a lot quicker.

Can you please tell us how you might have gotten it ?

Maybe........... reusing needle, dirty needle or unsealed packing, not washing inj. site, dirty hands, non-sterile gear, dirty rubber stopper, ect

I don't know how the infection came about. I was on my 3rd week of prop eod 1 cc. All needles, syringes were sterile. I use a new syringe and of course pin everytime.
I am not a newbie I just don't post...I read and gather knowledge.
The infection was local just in my calf. I was not sick my temperture was normal.
The front of my shin started swelling and when I would go to stand up you could feel the fluid moving and causing extreme pressure and pain to my leg. As soon as I lifted my pant leg the doc knew by the swelling, very red and warm to touch.
I am taking antibiotics and motrin to ease the pain.
As to using again, I am taking some time off to evalute things. I am going to search the boards for the reason some people stop.

I can't remember anyone getting an infection from anything other than brovel, tornel, and now mexi-pharm. It's probably a good idea to stick to human grade or QV products.

Anthony, I dont see this much of a trama experience for you to think about stopping your "hobby." From the sound of things your injection was minor and was able to be treated with anti- B. Although i didnt understand the calf injection thats one of the most painful injections that infact do casue alot of swelling and soreness

Have you seen the one guy with the water-based winstrol infection in his thigh. His wound was down to the bone and left open for days to let drain. Now thats an infection !!

i think some people comfuse injection site swelling as infections. T400 casues intense pain, (but we all know that) but sometimes swelling with warmness.

I dont think it was the gear b/c wouldn't I had an infection sometime during the first 2 weeks?
I injected in my calf b/c of the tissue scarring in my glutes. I know legs but I figured i heard people injecting into calves so why not.
It was infected trust me. You could actually feel the fluid start to move downward when I would stand up.
I have had the soreness with prop but nothing like this.

That would be assuming that there was some kind of bacteria in every ml of the whole thing. I'm assuming you were getting atleast ten shots out of the jug you were using.
