ISSA study help

Typhoid

New member
Reading up for the ISSA cert and I was hoping someone out there could help me weed through that pile of (poorly written) info to get to what they're looking for. I know on the "pre-test" they format things like "what are the five blah bla..." and frankly I don't know what to expect and what to really pay attention to. Any insight would be muchly appreciated. Cheers.

I may not be qualified to help you with ISSA, but what I did for NASM was I just took outline-style notes of literally everything. I used microsoft word and typed it in. It probably took a cumulative 30-40 hours but I had the stuff down. I highly recommend it if you have the time and discipline.

Also, NASM had little section quizzes one could take that didn't count for anything but existed to give you an idea what they thought was important. Those were helpful. They also had a sample case study before the real one, which was essential.

Thanks for the pointers. My biggest problem has been trying to figure out what they expect you to know verbatim and which you need to just inderstand the concepts of (and the fact that it looks like the text has never seen the red pen of an editor isn't helping at all). maybe I'll just memorize it all. Thx again.

It's a large sofcover, but it's a dark cover with yellow lettering

I'm not so sure about all this interviewing-people-in-your-gym shit either...
