Overtraining...

Overtraining is not a myth. In fact, most serious trainers do too much, too often. Try cutting your volume back and train less frequently with more intensity. I've never seen when this approach didn't add lean muscle weight and increase strength.

Overtraining is a horrible thing to see, all your hard work will be in vain when this happens. Most of the time people eat too little of what their body needs and this cause overtraining because the body lacks essential vitamin or macro molecules for recovery. Or the most common is training too frequently, when your workout is as intense as weightlifting or more you need to rest more it is that simplke, but many people don't understand this concept, andread too many article where guys workout evceryday and never take a break, sorry to say you won't get any real result that way.

It really is hard to say. If you eat and sleep enough, maybe a touch more than you normally would, you might be able to avoid overtraining. On a personal level I have never overtrained and I go heavier and harder than everyone in my gym. But I also consume around 3500-4500 calories a day and get at least 9-10 hours of sleep. If you try and overtrain, I'm sure you can do it. Being responsible and listening to your body will allow you to lift 7 days a week if you want.
