Just kinda curious as to how people think of my looks. This is my facebook pic, just a generic photo, nothing too fancy.


ps. the mark on my forehead is just dry skin from a sunburn, it's long gone.

The reason I'm posting this is because I'm attracted to a gorgeous chick (imo) and I kinda feel like a chump chasing after her. I try to act cool and alpha-like around her but I'm thinking I may be biting off more than I can chew. My body is excellent and gives me a very dominating presence so my only reasoning behind her not being attracted to me is either my looks or personality.

I do have self esteem issues. I'm very introverted. I was teased alot when I was younger, so it's hard to break that mentality. The only time I feel like a alpha badass is in the gym when I'm repping 315 on bench, squatting 495, barbell rowing 315, or shoulder pressing the 100s. I guess that's why I love working out, it gives me the mindset that I would like to always have. (no e-stats) (yes juicer)

b.) she's not really that hot. you can easily hit it.

there's no such thing as too good. i've seen so many complete ducks with smoking chicks.
that mentality will lead you to bangin average wimminz forever

you need to bang a few complete smokeshows to get over that fear. once you've hooked up with a few really hot girls you know that you can do it again

girls place alot less emphasis on how guys look than we do. as long as you're a decent looking dude and have a personality and confidence, there's no girl you can't really have.

Yup, I'm an introvert as well. I honesty started working out to feel better about myself and damn, it works. I learned a lot once I started getting big. I've never been the guy to hit on chicks. Once your noticeable you don't have to hit on women, they hit on you. Works good for the shy guys :)

objectively i would say you are in the same league lookswise. However your self esteem issues may stop you from landing her. You could game the most hideous fucking leper girl in the world, and if you were worried inside that you weren;t good enough for whatever reason, she would look at you like you were the biggest faggot in the world.

I sent her a message over facebook asking her out. I figured I have to at least try. She's working an hour away over the summer for an internship, so we can't just randomly meet up but she does come home occasionally, which is when I plan on going out.

I wrote:

"So, when is the next time you'll be in Cola because I want to take you out for some drinks?"

Thanks, very nice of you to say. This reminded me of a few days ago when I was out at a bar. I walked up to the bar to buy a drink and some random girl says to me, "Are you single?" I told her I was, then she said, "Because you are gorgeous." The combination of it being so random and my insecurities I assumed she was being facetious and sarcastic, so I took it as an insult and ignored her while waiting for my drink. I thought she was implying, "You're single because you're not good looking." True story. I can't believe how dumb I can be sometimes, lol.

Not 100% true. If you really do love some part about her, tell her. Even if she doesn't like it, over time she will know why you like/love that part of her and she too will begin to like it for at least the reason that it attracts you to it. She will know her imperfections can even attract a great person such as yourself.

That's of course if you are a great person...

Actually, if you do it correctly, you absolutely should call out her insecurities. This move is typically reserved for the hotter chicks (the ones that exude the faux self confidence that comes from years of desperate dudes ogling them) and it works PERFECTLY if you execute correctly.

it's not so much of an insult as it is an underhanded little jab mixed with a smile that knocks em down a few pegs.
