That has to be the highest compliment I have seen for a product in quite awhile. .
Well it is the truth. People pay more for a shiny wrapper than they do the actual bar. You have to pay for the wrapper, the marketing, the shipping, the endorsements, etc.. So out of the amount that bar costs, how much do you actually think went into the bar itself? Not much.
How could they possibly spend much on it when all they do is load it with collagen, sugar alcohol, crap carbs and the worst fat around?
It's total bullshit when you read their labels.
But then a better product comes along, it doesn't have a fancy wrapper on it. There is no Mr Olympia holding it up in ads. Yeah, you have to spend a whopping 10 minutes making it - or 15 minutes if you are like me and tend lick everything down afterwards, the spoons, the bag, the kitchen counter, etc.. But what you do get is protein that comes from superior sources than other bars. Good carbs from the oatmeal. Healthy - heart smart - fat from the ANPB. And for how much again?
Yeah, right. Thing is, I still get PMs from people that want advice but when I question their diet they write something like "3 meals per day, couple N-Large shakes, Met-Rx protein bar, etc.."
God no wonder they are disappointed in themselves.
